In this episode, Candice finds the perfect solution to balance technology and design with a Séura Entertainment TV Mirror to create a gathering space, and a relaxing living room for watching TV. The 46” LED TV provides a bright, high-performance picture when switched on, and transforms into a stunning mirror when switched off. Candice chose a warm wood frame from Séura’s Belmont collection to add a custom touch of elegance to the TV mirror. The Séura TV Mirror is installed above a fireplace and between flanking bookcases. The TV Mirror has become a focal point in the room and complements the fireplace.

After years of living in a family home with a monochrome, neutral palette, a couple of empty nesters decided to shift gears for their next chapter. Leaving the ‘burbs and the beige behind, they purchased a new home in NYC and enlisted us to fill their world with color. What better way to embark on a rich, new life than to fill it with jewels? By injecting pops of emerald green and sapphire blue, amethyst and cinnabar, and aquamarine and yellow topaz, we enlivened the spaces while grounding the color story with a continuous blanket of dark wood tones and soft silvery grays.

Here in this basement courtyard, a great example of green walls in the context of a complete garden revamp. The client had a rather dull, lifeless, and dark space and wanted to inject some color into the courtyard. The client wanted grey tones to be the overall theme of the garden, but also realised the need to counterbalance this with bursts of color, and what better way than to incorporate some stunning greenery. However, the limited space in the courtyard minimized the available space for planting and thus, a vertical option was sought. This would have the added benefit of breaking up the timber screening which could have made the garden look rather enclosed on its own. But a vertical green wall also presented its own issues. Real plants would require a costly irrigation system and would add a significant amount of weight to the wall. Plus, the height of the walls meant that a living wall may have struggled through a lack of sunlight being allowed in.

In this project, we had the joy of designing and renovating a home that embodies modern warmth, chic elegance, and an unmistakable luxurious feel, with a keen eye for detail throughout. Our goal was to bring our client's vision to life: a home perfect for both grand entertaining and the daily rhythms of family life. They dreamed of a welcoming space where friends could gather, share fine wines, and enjoy each other's company. Our highlight? Transforming an underutilized laundry room into an exquisite wine cellar. This exquisite space now proudly displays our client’s wine collection, creating the perfect backdrop for cozy gatherings as well as elegant entertainment. The transformation of the primary closet into a daily luxury experience stands out, too. We designed it to highlight every item, from the most delicate sweaters to the most refined suits, giving the feel of a private boutique. And for the beloved pets of the family, we introduced a charming addition—a doggy shower in the revamped laundry room. This delightful feature simplifies pet care and injects a dose of happiness into the home. The butler’s pantry has also received a makeover, turning it into a stunning and practical area for meal preparation. We're proud to have collaborated with our client to create a home that seamlessly blends stunning aesthetics with practical functionality, celebrating both the beauty of design and the comfort of living. This home stands as a testament to a lifestyle that values both special moments and everyday pleasures.

We saved on budget by refacing the existing cabinets and building a custom island --this allowed room in the budget to upgrade to a marble backsplash--another classic that will remain timeless for decades. Pulling in some neutrals like whites and greys and then injecting her favorite color blue, the kitchen became an extension of her! Quartz countertops in Torquay and classic shaker-style cabinets make this a coastal classic design. The blue is just the cherry on the cake, or should we say blueberry?

Angie & Amanda began their journey to transform the master bathroom in their new home while overcoming their previous disappointing experiences with contractors. Their goal was to craft a space that reflected their style as well as making their shower functional for them for years to come. A key change was their decision to remove the existing bathtub, which made space for an over-sized custom shower. This shower includes a dry-off area with multiple towel hooks that were thoughtfully positioned to maximize the space near the window and side wall. They chose 12" x 24" tiles in Nobleza Lugo with a polished finish for the walls and the matte version for the floor of their dry-off area, ensuring a cohesive design. The shower floor features 2" x 2" square tiles in Contessa Oro, blending perfectly with the walls and floor for a luxurious feel. One of the highlights was the addition of a large recessed wall niche along with a recessed shaving niche. Both were accentuated with Montage City Chic Glass tiles, injecting a sophisticated and contrasting flair into the shower's functional features. Angie and Amanda chose to continue this accent throughout their new shower by adding an accent band of the same glass tiles along the shower walls, which introduced another custom touch to the area. The Delta Lahara shower trim, along with the Delta In2ition shower head, both in the Venetian Bronze finish, enhanced shower experience. A clear frameless tempered glass door with matching hardware completed the look.

The open plan kitchen flows perfectly with the open plan living and dining areas at our Harold Ashwell project. We brought this once dull kitchen to life by injecting a punch of moody charcoal blue in the joinery which is offset by the freshness of the white counter tops. A very important aspect of any kitchen is a fully functional workspace and Cheryl designed a brand new island that encompasses all of that and more. The counter top has a marbled vein and waterfall sides to the floor on either side that wraps up and over the island seamlessly. Seating at the island is ideal for the children to sit at and be a part of the cooking process, as well as to have breakfast or a snack. The black kitchen stools are modern and gives a nod to the other pops of black in this open living space. The pendant lights add warmth and works well with the dining pendants that are in the same area. The touch tip integrated fridge/freezer and wine cooler forms part of the joinery and creates a seamless, stylish look. Carefully selected objet, crockery, appliances and décor makes this kitchen unique to the family who will use it. Cheryl made sure that the kitchen is strikingly beautiful and fits into the style and look of the rest of the living areas, whilst ensuring optimum functionality.
