Designed by Jens Bunte of Reico Kitchen & Bath in Chesapeake, VA this transitional style kitchen design features Green Forest Cabinetry in Park Place shaker door style with White finish. Kitchen countertops are Q by MSI engineered quartz in the color Calacatta Laza. The tile backsplash features the Glazzio Crystile Series in the color Morning Mist. According to the client, “On her initial visit, Jens asked many insightful questions and offered several helpful recommendations that appealed to us immediately. These included installing ceiling height cabinets by removing the soffit, adding a full depth cabinet above the refrigerator, considering a larger island with more countertop, storage and seating space, incorporating efficient cabinet accessories in our base cabinets and transforming a bi-fold door pantry into a coffee bar. From project kickoff to concept design, planning, communication, logistics, installation and follow up, Jens was attentive, enthusiastic, engaged and meticulous. Huge traditional brown two-story wood exterior home idea in Cleveland

The great room incorporates a living and dining and is open to the kitchen as well as a luxurious back patio. It is the perfect place for entertaining. In this space we used rich wood furniture, including a custom exotic wood scroll bench. Cream and white leather upholstery is predominant with hammered silver nail head trim as accents. An antiqued silver leafed custom bar cabinet in an alcove in the back of the space was custom made just for the client. A floor lamp with crystal accents highlights the gorgeous crystal lamp that rests on the sofa table. A large contemporary art piece on the wall brings in some color and interest. We refinished the walnut strip wood flooring in a darker color for more contrast and placed a custom pony hair area rug to the living room floor for added dimension and luxury. Lots of metal and glass furniture accents are seen throughout. A metallic drapery rod and custom horizontally striped drapery panels over motorized roman shades add a glamorous feel to the space. For an upscale look we used grass cloth and mica wall coverings on the dining room wall. An inlaid walnut sunburst table is surrounded by custom upholstered dining chairs and the focal point is the custom chandelier made with quartz crystal clusters in varied lengths over the dining room table. Exterior forms are emphasized with glass and fiber-cement panels at the top level, soaring over and sheltering containers clad in tougher, leathery Corten Steel at the ground level. Exposed concrete walls and rock-filled gabion retaining was selected to anchor the partially day-lighted basement level and garages to the land. Materials were chosen to be low-maintenance, relatively inexpensive, and to contrast the volumes that express the interior spaces.

Over 9,000 sf of porphyry cobblestone pavers for St. Annes Community Plaza located in Northern California. 4” x 4” x 1-1/4” to 2” thick pavers and a color range mix of red, gold, tan and brown. Tom Holloway, Principal of KLA Inc, Sonora CA, was the lead landscape architect/designer on this beautiful project. Simile Construction of Modesto provided the installation.

This project shows the remodel of a small 1950's vintage home master bathroom. 8"" x 18" Calcutta gold marble tile was used on the shower walls and floor wall base and ceramic gray penny tile on the floor. Shower includes curbless pan / floor, dual shower boxes, frameless glass slider, trough duel fixture sink and chrome fixtures.

This mid-century custom home had always intrigued me, so I was thrilled when asked by the homeowners to help to renovate their kitchen, master bath as well as three other bathrooms. Having a true sense of the home's essence and history, they were not afraid to use exotic and precious finishes to highlight its uniqueness. All doorknob sets and faucet sets are by Sherle Wagner and carefully selected by the homeowners to be unique to each space.
