This forever home, perfect for entertaining and designed with a place for everything, is a contemporary residence that exudes warmth, functional style, and lifestyle personalization for a family of five. Our busy lawyer couple, with three close-knit children, had recently purchased a home that was modern on the outside, but dated on the inside. They loved the feel, but knew it needed a major overhaul. Being incredibly busy and having never taken on a renovation of this scale, they knew they needed help to make this space their own. Upon a previous client referral, they called on Pulp to make their dreams a reality. Then ensued a down to the studs renovation, moving walls and some stairs, resulting in dramatic results. Beth and Carolina layered in warmth and style throughout, striking a hard-to-achieve balance of livable and contemporary. The result is a well-lived in and stylish home designed for every member of the family, where memories are made daily.

What a pleasure it was designing for this young energetic Emirati couple who had their hands full. Muna and Mohammed are parents to two young beautiful girls, where Muna is a lawyer at Emirates Airlines and Mohammed works for Dubai Police. They approached DeeDecors for their bedroom, a place where they told us they spent the least amount of time, as the décor was so uninviting. Working on the existing furniture – we went Nautical this time with a color palette of Tiffany and Off-White. The touch of rope around the mirror and the coffee table and the wooden lamp with a customized lampshade on the wall gave it a whole new definition. We hope you like the naturalist ambience this time. www.deedecors.com info@deedecors.com Call/Whatsapp: +971.(0)50.1753563 Dubai - U.A.E Follow us on: Houzz/Instagram/Facebook/Twitter/Pinterest/LinkedIn: @deedecors ‪#‎deedecors‬ ‪#‎interiordesigndubai‬ ‪#‎interiordesignuae‬ ‪#‎beforeandafter‬‪#‎makeover‬ ‪#‎interiordesigncompaniesdubai‬ ‪#‎abudhabi‬ ‪#‎alain‬ ‪#‎rak‬ ‪#‎sharjah‬‪#‎uae‬ ‪#‎dubaidecor‬ ‪#‎dubaidowntowndesign‬ ‪#‎dubai‬ Photographed by DeeDecors

In the early 19th century, Biedermeier craftsmen grew tired of the styles dictated by court architects and began designing their own furniture. As the middle class grew, these pieces were made for a new clientele - doctors, lawyers, merchants - and not the aristocracy. Chests were lighter in scale with taller legs that gave them a simple, restrained elegance. The Julius Secretary features a fold down writing surface with blind tooled black leather insert. The interior upper unit has 6 open storage slots, two small drawers and space for a laptop, while the bottom unit has a filing drawer and printer surface.

1st place- Combination Window Treatments 2020 Vision Workroom Competition awards Office- Historic Window Treatments “I have an unusual design project, would you be willing to help me?”, my client, a retired lawyer said on the phone. He purchased two antique brass cornices, which he envisioned them to be incorporated into his office room window treatments. He envisioned grand, sophisticated, functional, mix of old and new window treatments. Also, they had to be in the client’s favorite color red, but none of the proposed shades of red fabrics were appealing to the client. His favorite piece in the office was the antique rug, which gave inspiration for a completely different color scheme of blue and gold pelmets, crowned with brass cornices. For privacy, I added functioning shaped Roman shades with a gold bottom tassel. My client was pleasantly surprised with complete opposite color scheme and out of the box design, then he finally approved the project. The most challenging part of the fabrication was to match the pattern on both pelmets and Roman shades. Also, keeping right proportions of all three different elements was another challenge. These office combination type window treatments reflect the client’s personality and his passion for antiques. His house was underground railroad, which is part of small town’s history. Part of the house was preserved during renovation, such as window glass is still original with air bubbles and initials of passed residents. Window treatments were the last design addition to the house. We incorporated “old and new “and made them grand, as client wished.
