The owner said "any color but white" for her farmhouse kitchen country kitchen. Earthy and elemental materials are selected for the home that reference the barn without directly mimicking it. Wooden members found inside the barn and from other barns bridge ceilings and are used in floors along with rustic slate adding to a sense of simplicity to the farmhouse design.

Corian® Quartz Imperial is enticing with swirling veins of tobacco gold and brandy hued amber. Its deep, chocolate brown background stands against the swirling colors as dark leather chairs form a backdrop in traditional social clubs. Imperial is an approachable pattern that creates an air of comfort and add depth to any space.

The tropical open design in the living room was created with pocketing glass doors that open to the lanai and beautiful pool. The use of natural tropical hardwood flooring bring warmth and color into the home while the white walls sooth your senses making the room feel light and open. Traditional Hawaiian canoe paddles hang on either side of the kitchen pass through, the custom pillows are a mix of tropical green and pink fabrics, keeping the sophisticated living room from getting too serious.

This large pass through into the kitchen from the living room not only provides a spot for natural light to filter in but it also provides a chance for whom ever is in the kitchen to be included in what is going on in the living room. The great room has an incredible Neolith onyx wall and see-through linear gas fireplace and is appointed perfectly for views of the zero edge pool and waterway. A simple front facade consisting solely of ten-foot shuttered French doors radiates elegance in this new traditional foursquare home in Washington, D.C. Featured in Country Living magazine, the airy plan offers spaciousness in a limited-fronted site of the American foursquare house. The goal for the design was creating a contemporary foursquare style house. The family room and kitchen of this American foursquare interior are separated by a glassy built-in rather than walls, encouraging visual connection between the spaces in the four square house. Though nestled in the city, this American foursquare home feels like a classic country home.
