As part of our final touches, we worked to brighten and lighten the space. We updated window coverings and installed new can lighting in the dining room and kitchen areas. The hardwood floors were refinished and paint was updated throughout. We also completed the space with seating appropriate for entertaining in a smaller space. For example, accent chairs in this room also function as dining chairs for the head of the table. Use of lighter shaker style custom painted cabinetry with honed black counter tops has lightened the space tremendously. A large island with distress black cherry cabinetry ans a mahogany countertop was installed and has become the focal point of the kitchen. By removing a partition that previously separated the kitchen from the dining room, the new design has created a wide open floor plan. The casual dining room flows right into a casual seating area with a corner fireplace. French doors open onto a large new deck. Best of all, the addition lets the family spend time together before, during and after mean preparation. It’s truly become the hearth of the home.

This tiny bathroom was given an update with a modern slab door style on the cabinets, clean lines for the plumbing fixtures, and plenty of usable storage. The floating vanity helps to lighten up the space, and a cramped area near the toilet was utilized for necessary towel storage. The towel rods swing out and offer a place to store up to three towels. A wall cabinet provides storage for smaller items, while the slate mosaic tile back splash adds color and interest. Oil-rubbed bronze plumbing accessories complete the look.

We began by lightening the space up with a whole unit paint job and lighter engineered wood floors. This lighter space gave us a great foundation for the relaxing feel the client wanted. To address the irregular room shape, we use a layered rug approach. We perched a new relaxing cushy sectional with a chaise to allow for optimal visibility and flow in the space. The natural tone wood coffee table grounded the family room space. The swivel chair allows for enjoying the beautiful city views as well as conversing within the space. We utilized the existing ripple fold hardware and installed new blue/gray custom ripple fold draperies. Accent furniture, art and accessories finish off the soft transitional look with beach-inspired colors featuring the client's unique art.

This compact condo kitchen features a smart use of space with a streamlined design, utilizing a palette of white and blue cabinetry to create a contemporary feel. The upper cabinets have frosted glass inserts, adding a touch of modern elegance and helping to lighten the space visually. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, including a stainless steel refrigerator and a built-in wine cooler, enhancing functionality. Light wood vinyl flooring extends throughout, complementing the neutral color scheme. Overall, this kitchen blends style and practicality, optimizing the limited space available in a condo setting

The idea behind this design was to create a tonal, moody space reminiscing of a cocoon. It is one of our preferred ways to convey a refined, sophisticated ambiance. Dusty-blue gray, our all time favorite shade, was utilized as the dominant color seen on the silk wallpaper and our in-house designed custom curved back sofa with contrast frame. While, ivory found in the matte wood coffee table, art, side chair and lamp lighten and balance out the darkness. The space features many of our own in-house custom designed furniture pieces like the amazing 3 tier side table made from a bronze metal base and light stained white oak inserts. We added depth and interest through touches of burnt rust/organge and brass. You know, small details that make all the difference.
