When a book lover and color lover unite we get great spaces like this. From the orange leather Eames chairs to the Noir Jetson’s desk there are many eye catching yet functional elements to this multi-purpose space. Art if also at the heart of this home and we loved adding the “Weird” sign as an expected statement piece. The rug is hand woven 100% wool and adds a classic touch with a pop of pink.

This alpine style playhouse was inspired by the gingerbread house in Hansel and Gretel. We gave it a white stucco exterior and a composition roof reminiscent of gingerbread. The windows and door were purchased from architectural salvage yards in Seattle and painted candy colors. The interior of the playhouse includes a loft bed for overnight guests and shelving on either side that stores all of the toys in lightweight fabric drawers for easy kid access.​

Accenting the teal glass backsplash tile with the vivid black and white rug is just what this small apartment needed. In this small spaces we tried to maximize space and organize effectively.
