This room is definitely a collection. I took out a pair of French doors so I had a wall for this beautiful antique secretary that was a wedding gift to my husband and me. The secretary was in my northern home but as I love so much I decide to move it to Florida. The secretary has a collection of small Limoges boxes I have collected. The chandelier is an old venetian chandelier. What I like about this piece bedside the style is the beautiful auqa glass bobeches at the bottom of the candles. The aqua coloring of this glass set the scheme . I had the walls faux bois in an aqua color. The chairs are old French chairs that came from the island of Mauritius .These chairs were in a plantation home. The dining table has a beautiful Victorian base with serpent heads . I had a new Mahogany top made to give formality to the room.
