The earthy ambiance of this cottage kitchen originates from the beautiful combination of rift-cut white oak cabinetry, warm white accents, and a luxurious navy-blue panelled island. Rift-cut white oak, a stunning and premium hardwood, showcases its distinctive linear grain pattern and light, neutral color, adding to the overall aesthetic. The pairing of rift-cut white oak cabinetry with a warm white range hood and quartz countertops infuses the space with warmth, texture, and a hint of elegance, elevating the design to a new level of sophistication.

The Lexington Padded vertical channeling headboard panel is framed by a mitered corner quartered white oak veneer. The surface is gently wire-brushed then finished in a dark mocha coloration which enhances the linear grain characteristics. The rounded corner of the framed footboard and side rails is ideal for tucked bedding.
The standard leather, #904871 Deer Crest, is a rich chestnut brown. However, custom fabrics may be selected as 930-154UHB, and both are available as headboard only.

Natural Texture Meets Modern Clean — San Francisco, CA | 2018 | $15,000–$20,000
This full bathroom renovation in San Francisco brings together organic materials and contemporary design for a result that feels fresh, calm, and thoroughly considered. Though distinct from a typical tile-heavy remodel, this project stands out through its thoughtful layering of texture, tone, and carefully selected fixtures.
The walk-in shower makes a quiet but confident statement. The walls are clad in large-format white tiles with a subtle vertical ribbed texture, giving the space a soft, dimensional quality without competing with the other design elements. A full-height vertical accent column of mixed glass and stone mosaic — featuring elongated pieces in slate, taupe, gray, and warm brown — frames the shower entry and serves as the room's focal point. A generously sized recessed niche is built seamlessly into the back wall for clutter-free storage.
The shower floor is finished in a natural pebble mosaic tile in a warm mix of cream, blush, taupe, and gray — a grounding, spa-like touch that contrasts beautifully with the crisp white walls. A linear drain runs along one edge, keeping the floor visually clean and modern. The chrome shower system includes both a rain showerhead and a handheld unit on a slide bar for flexible use.
In the vanity area, a floating wood-grain cabinet with a white integrated countertop sink brings warmth and lightness to the room. A single-hole chrome faucet with a squared modern profile adds a refined detail. Above, a wide frameless mirror and a sleek multi-bulb vanity bar ensure the space is bright and functional. The floor throughout features large-format warm-toned tiles that unify the entire room. A streamlined one-piece toilet rounds out the clean, contemporary look.
KEY FEATURES:
Ribbed vertical-texture white large-format shower wall tile
Full-height glass & stone mosaic accent column

Castlewood Oak in Armory by Shaw Floors. Creating its stunning character are stylish 7 1/2" widths, extremely handsome linear graining, and sawn face veneers that closely resemble solid hardwood. Castlewood's colors are visually rich - with the beautiful knots, mineral streaks, and natural splits seen in heirloom woods. Heightening its appeal is a very low-gloss finish, which calls to mind vintage European oil-rubbed floors.

Quarter Sawn White Oak with light character throughout, to add some subtle character to this space. Showcasing the linear graining throughout and the rays with this stain

This guest suite in Hayden, Idaho, proves that high-end engineering shouldn't be reserved just for the master wing. We designed this hall bath as an "exotic luxury" destination, utilizing a specialized Kohler DTV electronic control system to manage a precision hydrotherapy array. It’s a sophisticated, compact spa experience that offers guests the same level of technical performance found in the primary suite.
Technical & Artisan Highlights:
Exotic Glass Tile Artistry: The focal point of the shower is the stunning floor-to-ceiling back wall, featuring an intricate, high-gloss glass mosaic tile in a Moroccan-inspired pattern. This exotic texture is balanced by dark, linear-grain porcelain side walls, creating a bold, high-contrast aesthetic.
Streamlined DTV Digital Control: The shower is powered by a computerized DTV interface (visible on the left wall), allowing guests to digitally program their perfect water temperature and flow. This removes the clutter of traditional valves for a sleek, modern look.
Integrated Body Massage Array: Despite the streamlined design, this shower packs a punch with three wall-mounted massaging body sprayers. These are strategically aligned to provide a targeted hydrotherapy experience, all controlled via the digital keypad.
Versatile Handheld Wand: For added functionality and ease of maintenance, we integrated a professional-grade handheld spray wand on a sliding bar. This provides a flexible secondary water source that complements the fixed massage heads.
Custom Glass & Lighting: The shower is enclosed in heavy-duty, frameless glass to keep the focus on the decorative tile work. We also integrated recessed LED lighting to highlight the reflective qualities of the glass mosaic, giving the space a constant "jewel-box" glow.
