The faux painter's at AH & Co. out of Montclair, NJ. began this tween girl's bedroom makeover starting with the inspiration from the comforter and purple carpeting. From there the client and I created the concept which included faux painting the crown molding with silver metallic paint, the walls were coated in a multi-layer high gloss white paint, the ceiling a coordinating lavender and all of the doors were finally highlighted with a silver detail line in the bevel and bedazzled with large rhinestones.

This is a bedroom for a tween girl. We wanted it to be fun and playful but also sophisticated enough to last until she goes to college. She loves it and so do we!

This Swim Spa with retractable Nana Walls was designed in 2005 and constructed in 2006 in Castle Pines Village. The clients wanted a swim spa that could be open to the patio during the Summer, but closed off during the cooler months. Nana Walls surround 2 walls of the pool house. Patio is bluestone flagstone with concrete "tiles". Mexican pebbles grout the concrete tiles. Ann Lowengart Interiors took a dated Lafayette Tuscan-inspired villa and transformed it into a timeless Californian ranch. The 5,045 Sq. Ft gated estate sited on 2.8-acres boasts panoramic views of Mt. Diablo, Briones Regional Park, and surrounding hills. Ann Lowengart dressed the modern interiors in a cool color palette punctuated by moody blues and Hermès orange that are casually elegant for a family with tween children and several animals. Unique to the residence is an indigo-walled library complete with a hidden bar for the adults to imbibe in.

My clients had outgrown their builder’s basic home and had plenty of room to expand on their 10 acres. Working with a local architect and a talented contractor, we designed an addition to create 3 new bedrooms, a bathroom scaled for all 3 girls, a playroom and a master retreat including 3 fireplaces, sauna, steam shower, office or “creative room”, and large bedroom with folding glass wall to capitalize on their view. The master suite, gym, pool and tennis courts are still under construction, but the girls’ suite and living room space are complete and dust free. Each child’s room was designed around their preference of color scheme and each girl has a unique feature that makes their room truly their own. The oldest daughter has a secret passage hidden behind what looks like built in cabinetry. The youngest daughter wanted to “swing”, so we outfitted her with a hanging bed set in front of a custom mural created by a Spanish artist. The middle daughter is an elite gymnast, so we added monkey bars so she can cruise her room in style. The girls’ bathroom suite has 3 identical “stations” with abundant storage. Cabinetry in black walnut and peacock blue and white quartz counters with white marble backsplash are durable and beautiful. Two shower stalls, designed with a colorful and intricate tile design, prevent bathroom wait times and a custom wall mural brings a little of the outdoors in. The cool gray tones of this master bath design in Gainesville set the backdrop for a soothing space in this home. The large alcove shower with a frameless glass door and linear drain creates a bright, relaxing space with both a rainfall and handheld Kohler showerhead. The shower also includes glass corner shelves for handy storage and a grab bar. The shower and bathroom floor are both tiled in Daltile Florentine porcelain tile with striking white and gray tones, giving the entire space a fluid feel. The Shiloh Cabinetry vanity and linen cabinet in a light gray wood finish are accented by Richelieu hardware. The vanity is topped by an engineered quartz countertop, undermount sink, and Delta Faucet, along with Glasscrafters medicine cabinet and wall sconces. A half wall separates the vanity from a Toto Drake II toilet, completing the bath design.

I am proud to present New, Stylish, Practical, and just Awesome ) design for your new kid's room. Ta -da... The space in this room is minimal, and it's tough to have two beds there and have a useful and pretty design. This design was built on the idea to have a bed that transforms from king to two tweens and back with ease. I do think most of the time better to keep it as a single bed and, when needed, slide bed over and have two beds. The single bed will give you more space and air in the room. You will have easy access to the closet and a much more comfortable bed to sleep on it. On the left side, we are going to build costume wardrobe style closet On the right side is a column. We install some exposed shelving to bring this architectural element to proportions with the room. Behind the bed, we use accent wallpaper. This particular mural wallpaper looks like fabric has those waves that will softener this room. Also, it brings that three-dimension effect that makes the room look larger without using mirrors. Led lighting over that wall will make shadows look alive. There are some Miami vibes it this picture. Without dominating overall room design, these art graphics are producing luxury filing of living in a tropical paradise. ( Miami Style) On the front is console/table cabinetry. In this combination, it is in line with bed design and the overall geometrical proportions of the room. It is a multi-function. It will be used as a console for a TV/play station and a small table for computer activities. In the end wall in the hallway is a costume made a mirror with Led lights. Girls need mirrors ) Our concept is timeless. We design this room to be the best for any age. We look into the future ) Your girl will grow very fast. And you do not have to change a thing in this room. This room will be comfortable and stylish for the next 20 years. I do guarantee that ) Your daughter will love it!
