This mid-century modern was a full restoration back to this home's former glory. The vertical grain fir ceilings were reclaimed, refinished, and reinstalled. The floors were a special epoxy blend to imitate terrazzo floors that were so popular during this period. The quartz countertops waterfall on both ends and the handmade tile accents the backsplash. Inspiration for a timeless bathroom remodel in Miami

This NoHo apartment, in a landmarked circa 1870 building designed by Stephen Decatur Hatch and converted to lofts in 1987, had been interestingly renovated by a rock musician before being purchased by a young hedge fund manager and his gallery director girlfriend. Naturally, the couple brought to the project their collection of painting, photography and sculpture, mostly by young emerging artists. Axis Mundi accommodated these pieces within a neutral palette accented with occasional flashes of bright color that referenced the various artworks. Major furniture pieces – a sectional in the library, a 12-foot-long dining table–along with a rich blend of textures such as leather, linen, fur and warm woods, helped bring the sprawling dimensions of the loft down to human scale. Subway tile has made a huge resurgence - and made its way into the residential marketplace tenfold. It's classic, it's clean, and you can play with the installation method to get some creative results. The small footprint of this Master Bath is underplayed because of the vaulted ceiling and skylight, smart storage solutions, and trough sink...not to mention the uber cool rain-shower panel. Double shower - contemporary double shower idea in Portland with turquoise countertops

This bath was converted from a plain traditional bath to this stunning transitional master bath with Oriental influences. Shower with floating bench, frames glass snd black plumbing fixtures is the focal point of the room. A freestanding tub with floor mounted plumbing fixtures by Brizo. New Vanity with a Cambria Quartz Top, Roman style faucets and undermounted sinks keep the clean understand elements of this bath as the focus. Custom heated floor mat brings the ultimate comfort to this room. Now it is the spa like retreat the owners were looking for.

In this beautiful master bath, everything was completely gutted. The former version had carpet, turquoise tile everywhere and a cylinder glass block shower. The new design opens up the space. We shed the carpet for a classic tile pattern (with heated coils underneath), and squared off the shower. Custom cabinets and mirrors make up the vanity, and a freestanding tub was installed. Custom shades were also installed on all of the windows.
