How much style can we put in one small hall bathroom? Oh so much! Our clients needed to renovate their family bathroom which was almost completely original, in their 1920’s Royal Oak tudor style home – but they didn’t want to sacrifice the style and character that they love about their home. We enhanced the arch in the bathtub/shower area and incorporated traditional tile elements including a rich colored beveled tile and tile base and installed a traditional mosaic key patterned flooring. We added wallpaper and gold fixtures and topped it off with a bright white, stylish vanity. This bathroom is small, mighty and completely in sync with this historic home.

Unlike most recliners, the moon features the 3 main keys to a recliner: Rocking motion, 360 degree rotation, and reclining capability. This recliner features a powered reclining mechanism that allows you to adjust your seat with a touch of a button. The frame of the Moon is crafted from pine wood and MDF construction making it very durable. All Fama products use a webbing system for suspension and support instead of the old spring design that will sag over time. Attached to the bottom is a circular metal base in a black finish that not only allows the 360 degree rotation, but also for it to maintain its low profile look. Located on the second level, Franklin's home office graciously overlooks the front entrance via a massive arched window. The key to successfully transforming the design of the barn into a home, according to Franklin, was to scale windows and doors according to the massive volume that existed. "The majority of windows are 4'x8' in size, and main-level doorways are eight feet tall", he says. Franklin runs his firm, Franklin & Associates, from his office on the main level. Being in plain view of the stairwell calls for a quick means of concealing the trappings of the workday.
