Designed by architect Alexandru Cristian, Accoya was recommended by distributor Tecade for use in the construction of the building, which needed to be aesthetically pleasing as well as highly durable in order to withstand the country’s extreme climate. Tecade recommended the use of Accoya to ensure that the building would sit sympathetically within its natural surroundings, while also maintaining its structural integrity against the harsh environment. Originally Accoya was specified solely to construct the windows and the terrace. However, due to its aesthetic appeal, both the owner and the architect decided to use Accoya for all applications throughout the home including the façade, interior doors, indoor and outdoor furniture, terrace, garage door and railings. The architect specified 28mm by 150mm of Accoya for the outdoor terrace and constructed the terrace furniture using around 1 cubic meters of Accoya to build 3 tables and 36 chairs for external use. This dog run was installed in Smithtown Long Island NY by Gappsi. A dog run is useful for giving your dog a safe and happy environment to play in while also maintaining a clean back yard. This dog run is built with a black chain link fence to keep the dog within the specific area. A synthetic turf is then laid across the selected area within the fence. The turf allows easy clean up and prevents a muddy environment. Using a prepared rca base and using a high quality durable turf with a double-coated backing makes it extremely difficult for any tear. The turf allows easy drainage for liquid waste and allows easy clean up for solid waste. To clean up any dog run a simple hose down is all that is needed.

However, space on that floor was extremely limited. Also, the homeowner wanted to maintain views of Seattle and natural light coming through the bedroom windows. Using a small covered deck off the primary bedroom, we were able to reclaim enough space for two upstairs bathrooms while preserving the city view. In the primary bath, windows allow homeowners to enjoy views of Seattle while getting ready for their day. Double pocket doors with clear glass panels allow natural light to flow from the bathroom and into the bedroom. The primary bath also features a dual vanity and generous walk-in shower.

This spacious, yet extremely friendly and inviting home lacked a kitchen with personality and functionality for this growing family and their desire to entertain others. The goal for this renovation was to provide for new and larger appliances, maintain views to the rear yard, and provide family seating space within the kitchen. The home’s existing exterior architecture provides references reminiscent Italian villas with terra cotta clay tile roofing, half-round steel windows and ornate stonework. The interior evokes similar images through the use of warm earth tone wall colors, hardwood floors, wrought-iron railings and plastered walls. The home’s existing pallet of aged materials and their warm earth tones was reinforced with the selection of new finish materials such as: red brick, limestone veneer, linoleum flooring, African-mahogany cabinets, quartz perimeter countertops, copper sinks, exhaust hood and island counter, and oil-rubbed bronze hardware and fixtures. Because matching the exterior brick veneer was no longer a possibility, the combination of limestone veneer and copper sheet metal was selected for the new exterior; both being chosen for their warmth and timeless character. In addition, new hand-crafted wrought-iron doors and windows with energy-efficient insulated glass and ornate scrollwork were chosen in lieu of wood or clad-wood windows to replicate the home’s original steel and leaded-glass windows. With the harsh winter of 2017, the weather we encountered did not stop us from pushing through the setbacks to completing this momentous outdoor oasis. We are able to work in all the elements the North East can and has thrown at us. We have an extremely knowledgeable crew and appropriate, well-maintained equipment. Originally built in 1892, this quaint log cabin has undergone a transformative renovation while preserving its charming character. Located near the Little Deschutes River in Central Oregon, within the historic Vandert Homestead, the home now boasts bright, open spaces for everyday living, complete with flexible aluminum clad folding doors. Working alongside contractor Bales Inc., architect Jeff Klein from Klein Architecture led the renovation with the goal of opening the once dark interior to natural light and the surrounding landscape. Central to the design was transforming a deteriorating garage into a new functional sunroom, creating a light-filled space that reorients the cabin design toward the patio and natural environment. Restoring a Historic Cabin with Aluminum Clad Folding Doors outdoor living with aluminum clad folding door A Revamped Cabin Design for Indoor-Outdoor Living The former garage is now a transitional space between the cabin and a natural stone patio. Positioned along the south elevation, the sunroom captures daylight throughout the day while acting as a buffer between the interior and exterior environments. A revised roof assembly was developed to resolve previous drainage failures. Working with framers, the design team incorporated a sloping roof system with a waterproof membrane to direct water away from the structure. This approach not only protected the log walls but also created access to a rooftop deck from the upper level, adding functional outdoor space without expanding the building footprint. “It was also critical to transform the existing dark, segmented interior spaces by physically opening them up to the new sunroom,” says Klein. “NanaWall systems offered the ideal solution for what we were after.” historical homestead interior Improving Spatial Flow, From the Kitchen to the Sunroom The kitchen remained largely intact during the renovation, retaining many of the elements that had defined the cabin’s character for decades. Products making their television debut in this project were Anthology Woods Northwest Blend (a naturally weathered wood installed on a section of the ceiling, unfinished) and the extremely hard & durable Left Coast White Oak, a unique species growing only in a narrow strip of Oregon and bit in California & Washington (installed for the flooring, finished with Rubio Monocoat White natural oil). The homeowners were able to easily apply the finish themselves prior to installing the floor, and the zero VOC nature of the oil insured it was safe to move right in! The White tint to the oil gives a subtle white-washed look to the floors while maintaining a natural look and a supple feel underfoot. The couple participating in the episode loved their floor so much they decided to add more, installing it in their master bedroom, as well! The rich character of this natural Oak in a flat sawn (the old "European" way to cut Oak) wood product adds a timeless element & warmth to the feel of the space. Looking closely at the grain, you'll see cathedral patterns in many boards, along with a great mix of flat grain with rift areas as well. Finishing out the details of the room, the Bath Crashers team added natural carerra marble in the shower with tones of white & gray, and apron-front vanity sinks for extra charm.

Clients lakefront home stairs and boardwalk needed multiple repars and upgrades. We replaced several sections of stairs and areas of the boardwalk. We also added access from the boardwalk to a sitting area firepit above the boat dock, We designed and built a set of winder stairs to maintain the flow of the entire recreation area.
