Full home renovation of a Burnaby single-family home completed over nine months. The project involved a complete structural rework of the main floor to create an open-concept layout, including steel beam installation to remove load-bearing walls, a full kitchen renovation, 4.5 bathroom renovations, new HVAC throughout, and structural repairs across the home. The scale and complexity of this project required careful sequencing — structural work, mechanical systems, and finish trades coordinated across an occupied neighbourhood site over a nine-month build. Every scope was managed under one process by Roka Projects, from engineer coordination and permit applications through to final finishes. Design and Build of this front garden space in Stockport which had major level changes and a neighbouring TPO'd tree. The design utilises sleeper retaining walls to the boundaries and rendered concrete retaining walls between the upper garden/entrance and lower driveway area. The use of clay pavers and grey sawn slate creates a modern/period fusion which compliments the Victorian property and offers clean lines which are softened with lush planting. Green & Wood handled the tree permission application with the local council and managed the implementation with our recommended landscapers.

ArcUrb selected LUXE Linear Shower Drain - Pattern Grate, in a standard 60" length for a wetroom application. ArcUrb placed LUXE Linear Shower Drain inside an open shower design, flush against the room's far, back wall. In doing so, the installers only had to slope the mortar bed substrate in one direction - from the door to the far wall and shower. That sure makes the contractor happy! Zoning Board of Appeals and Planning Board approvals were required. Extensive infrastructure improvements and property grading were needed to meet the regulatory and client program requirements.
