A master bedroom fit for a bed and breakfast! This client wanted to feel at home, yet on vacation at all times in their space. We combined the calming colors of grey blue and green with cream and white to achieve a soft, subtle appearance. Through unique textures such as grasscloth and velvet, we brought different feels throughout the space.

While having floor to ceiling glass to 2 different views of the desert, this master bedroom still maintains a feeling of intimacy, thanks to the dropped ceiling connecting the bed and the fireplace. The fireplace and dropped ceiling are clad in a raked texture plaster, while the fireplace surround is featured in blackened steel and floats on the wall with no hearth. The TV pops up from the chest at the foot of the bed.

The master suite at the back of the house is soothingly minimal, with the bedroom, spa bathroom and study all opening to secluded gardens. The palette throughout the house juxtaposes white plaster, natural grey poured concrete, and dark wood cabinets.

We got to start with the most spacious master suite, essentially the full second floor of a classic Chicago Bungalow. We gutted the bathroom, swapping the huge dated tub for more storage, upgraded the dual pedestal sinks to a custom double vanity, and gave the double shower a makeover, adding a rain head. The renovations continued into the bedroom, office and window seat space with new flooring, lighting, window treatments, furniture and accessories throughout.

This modern beach house in Jacksonville Beach features a large, open entertainment area consisting of great room, kitchen, dining area and lanai. A unique second-story bridge over looks both foyer and great room. Polished concrete floors and horizontal aluminum stair railing bring a contemporary feel. The kitchen shines with European-style cabinetry and GE Profile appliances. The private upstairs master suite is situated away from other bedrooms and features a luxury master shower and floating double vanity. Two roomy secondary bedrooms share an additional bath. This master bedroom was small, dark and not very appealing.
I wanted to create the comfort of a chic hotel suite. With only one king size grey upholstered bed, two over sized oval grey night table, and a small grey upholstered storage bench used as furniture. By adding custom made wainscoting - basically applied moldings designed in such a way as to keep it balanced and in proportion.
Even the ceiling got a make over by mimicking the wall same wall detail.
My favorite part of the room is the built in wall with TV insert. by doing this it allowed me to incorporate a TV with back lighting and not having to see those pesky wires.
I wanted to add a touch of glam. I covered the TV wall with an elegant thin mosaic stone. The rest is all about the comfortable linens, pillows and decorations that brings it all together.
