This live edge black walnut table was handcrafted in Living Wood Design's Muskoka, Ontario studio, with custom made modern white steel base and shipped to Sag Harbor. This contemporary dining table perfectly complements the interior in this beautiful renovation.

The Oddingsells House master bath previously featured an oversized jetted tub that overwhelmed the small shower and vanity space. These outdated components were removed to enlarge the space and accommodate a new glass-walled shower, custom vanity with an engineered quartz countertop, and porcelain tile, all chosen to complement the historical features of the home. Tucked away in the backwoods of Torch Lake, this home marries “rustic” with the sleek elegance of modern. The combination of wood, stone and metal textures embrace the charm of a classic farmhouse. Although this is not your average farmhouse. The home is outfitted with a high performing system that seamlessly works with the design and architecture. The tall ceilings and windows allow ample natural light into the main room. Spire Integrated Systems installed Lutron QS Wireless motorized shades paired with Hartmann & Forbes windowcovers to offer privacy and block harsh light. The custom 18′ windowcover’s woven natural fabric complements the organic esthetics of the room. The shades are artfully concealed in the millwork when not in use. Spire installed B&W in-ceiling speakers and Sonance invisible in-wall speakers to deliver ambient music that emanates throughout the space with no visual footprint. Spire also installed a Sonance Landscape Audio System so the homeowner can enjoy music outside. Each system is easily controlled using Savant. Spire personalized the settings to the homeowner’s preference making controlling the home efficient and convenient. On the main level of Hearth and Home is a full luxury master suite complete with all the bells and whistles. Access the suite from a quiet hallway vestibule, and you’ll be greeted with plush carpeting, sophisticated textures, and a serene color palette. A large custom designed walk-in closet features adjustable built ins for maximum storage, and details like chevron drawer faces and lit trifold mirrors add a touch of glamour. Getting ready for the day is made easier with a personal coffee and tea nook built for a Keurig machine, so you can get a caffeine fix before leaving the master suite. In the master bathroom, a breathtaking patterned floor tile repeats in the shower niche, complemented by a full-wall vanity with built-in storage. The adjoining tub room showcases a freestanding tub nestled beneath a elegant chandelier.

Luxurious transitional master bedroom featuring a sophisticated corner fireplace with stone surround. The space showcases a substantial dark wood bed frame with convenient under-bed storage, complemented by coordinating bedroom furniture. An architectural tray ceiling with recessed lighting and white crown molding adds elegance, while a large shag area rug softens the dark hardwood floors beneath.

This homes timeless design captures the essence of Santa Barbara Style. Indoor and outdoor spaces intertwine as you move from one to the other. Amazing views, intimately scaled spaces, subtle materials, thoughtfully detailed, and warmth from natural light are all elements that make this home feel so welcoming. The unique design of this lake home and the surrounding natural landscape complement each other perfectly, resulting in beautiful lake views and a spacious, comfortable living area that welcomes guests. The interior features a mix of stained alder and white enamel cabinetry and woodwork, a vaulted great room with masonry fireplace, and an owners’ suite with a high ceiling, built-ins, and expansive lake views. One of the favorite spaces of the home is the beautiful lakeside porch & patio for entertaining, grilling and includes automated screens and vinyl shades for year-round enjoyment.

Our clients came to us because they were tired of looking at the side of their neighbor’s house from their master bedroom window! Their 1959 Dallas home had worked great for them for years, but it was time for an update and reconfiguration to make it more functional for their family. They were looking to open up their dark and choppy space to bring in as much natural light as possible in both the bedroom and bathroom. They knew they would need to reconfigure the master bathroom and bedroom to make this happen. They were thinking the current bedroom would become the bathroom, but they weren’t sure where everything else would go. This is where we came in! Our designers were able to create their new floorplan and show them a 3D rendering of exactly what the new spaces would look like. The space that used to be the master bedroom now consists of the hallway into their new master suite, which includes a new large walk-in closet where the washer and dryer are now located. From there, the space flows into their new beautiful, contemporary bathroom. They decided that a bathtub wasn’t important to them but a large double shower was! So, the new shower became the focal point of the bathroom. The new shower has contemporary Marine Bone Electra cement hexagon tiles and brushed bronze hardware. A large bench, hidden storage, and a rain shower head were must-have features. Pure Snow glass tile was installed on the two side walls while Carrara Marble Bianco hexagon mosaic tile was installed for the shower floor. For the main bathroom floor, we installed a simple Yosemite tile in matte silver. The new Bellmont cabinets, painted naval, are complemented by the Greylac marble countertop and the Brainerd champagne bronze arched cabinet pulls. The rest of the hardware, including the faucet, towel rods, towel rings, and robe hooks, are Delta Faucet Trinsic, in a classic champagne bronze finish. To finish it off, three 14” Classic Possini Euro Ludlow wall sconces in burnished brass were installed between each sheet mirror above the vanity. In the space that used to be the master bathroom, all of the furr downs were removed. We replaced the existing window with three large windows, opening up the view to the backyard. We also added a new door opening up into the main living room, which was totally closed off before. Our clients absolutely love their cool, bright, contemporary bathroom, as well as the new wall of windows in their master bedroom, where they are now able to enjoy their beautiful backyard!

In this beautiful master bath, everything was completely gutted. The former version had carpet, turquoise tile everywhere and a cylinder glass block shower. The new design opens up the space. We shed the carpet for a classic tile pattern (with heated coils underneath), and squared off the shower. Custom cabinets and mirrors make up the vanity, and a freestanding tub was installed. Custom shades were also installed on all of the windows.

For this classic San Francisco William Wurster house, we complemented the iconic modernist architecture, urban landscape, and Bay views with contemporary silhouettes and a neutral color palette. We subtly incorporated the wife's love of all things equine and the husband's passion for sports into the interiors. The family enjoys entertaining, and the multi-level home features a gourmet kitchen, wine room, and ample areas for dining and relaxing. An elevator conveniently climbs to the top floor where a serene master suite awaits.
