The master bathroom consists of blue de savoie marble floors and gioia venatino walls. Ceiling high windows provide natural lighting for the free standing tub.

We utilized pop up lifts in the Kitchen and Master Bed to conceal their TVs. In their Library Media Room, designer “Cube” speakers were used to combine high-performance with aesthetics. When designing their control interface, we worked with the homeowners to ensure it was intuitive for them, as well as visually coordinated with the space.

Luxurious materials, a sculptural freestanding tub, and complete symmetry are the stars of this master bath retreat. The walls flanking the tub are clad in hand-carved stone tiles creating a sense of wavelike movement in the space.

The objective for this design was to create non-traditional artwork to serve as a striking focal point for this master bath. After much brainstorming, this designer started a search for some type of platter, bowl or plate that could be framed as a set. Crate & Barrel’s Suki bowls, although matte black on the outside, gleamed with a beautiful gold finish from the interior which sparked an instant flash of creativity within this designer! The next step involved having a woodworker make a simple oak frame, after which the bowls went from centerpiece to high end art. The homeowner absolutely loved the results and guests comment on the beautiful art and guests are astonished to learn they were made with repurposed materials!

Each master bathroom marries quality function and design with high-grade materials that offer luxury and smart spatial planning.

An Old Town loft gets a chic, minimalist kitchen redesign with high-gloss acrylic, flat panel cabinetry and stainless steel appliances. Upstairs, our designer, Kapan Shipman, created an earthy, minimal master bathroom with a built-in floating double vanity. She also worked with the homeowners to redesign their walk-in closet adding built-in drawers, open shelving, and plenty of new storage space.

From out dated to high-end hotel, this master suite was brought from the 1980's to date both by look and by function.

A row of dormer windows line both sides of this grand master bathroom for a very bright and welcoming experience. The clawfoot tub and open pedestal sink complete the picture of ample space and an uncluttered lifestyle.

Creating a cozy yet elegant sanctuary in this large space definitely posed a design. An edgy damask patterned wall paper serves as the perfect backdrop for the stunning wood bed with chrome accents. Custom bedding and pillows were made with a assortment of fabrics mixing silvers, golds, creams, and pops of deep purple. Erika Barczak, By Design Interiors Inc. ASID TGCC Residential Bathroom - Gold Winner. Master suite showcases an integrated tub deck and shower bench. The frameless glass shower is fitted with a second shower head on a sliding bar for easy access. Glass mosaics are incorporated on the floor and wall to bring in the accent color. They played up the natural beauty surrounding the house, by enhancing the natural light and introducing new textures that would give the space a modern look. Being centred in a wooden lot, we chose to carry natural materials like walnut, marble and slate into the room. However, to add drama and contrast, the elements are juxtaposed with industrial lighting, square high-polished fixtures and a factory-style barn door.
