An old stone mansion built in 1924 had seen a number of renovations over the decades and the time had finally come to address a growing list of issues. All of the home’s bathrooms needed to be fully gutted and completely redone. In the master bathroom, we took this opportunity to rearrange the layout to incorporate a double vanity and relocate the toilet (the former bathroom had only a small single vanity with the toilet awkwardly located directly in front of the door). The bathtub was replaced with a generous walk-in shower complete with frameless glass and digital controls. We located a towel warmer immediately outside the shower to provide toasty towels within easy reach. A beautiful Calacatta and Bardigiglio Gray basketweave tile was used in combination with various sizes of Calacatta marble field tile and trim for a look that is both elegant and timeless.

This bathroom went from a dark, stuffy, tired old lay-out where you looked straight in at the toilet, a dangerous sunken tub/shower and a single cluttered vanity to a functional, modern classic space with vein cut travertine tile, glass tile and floating his & hers vanities with plenty of natural and LED lighting.

TIGARD BATHROOM UPGRADE - Portland, OR
The original space had the single vanity sink in the bedroom instead of being part of the bathroom which was going to create an issue for the homeowners. With some small adjustments, we were able to create a private space that was now separated from the bedroom. Cool grays were used throughout the space to create a calm environment. A custom vanity was built to help fill the space with the richness of dark wood. A spacious corner shower was used to optimize space without sacrificing comfort

Laura & Jim wanted to take their builder-grade bathroom to the next level by creating a modern yet sophisticated space. Their oversized garden tub was not working for them any longer and the large, fabricated shower walls were discolored and showing their age.
By determining that Laura wanted to relax at the end of the day, she wanted a smaller, but luxurious bathtub. Because the main flooring was still in great shape, this caused a little issue due to not having extra to lay under the newly opened tub area.
To elevate the look, we used the flat pebble Warm Blend rock to create a dedicated relaxation station. Due to the post – tension slab we needed to raise the freestanding tub filler a few inches, by raising this the water effortlessly cascades into the tub.
A fresh coat of paint for Sherwin Williams; Drift of Mist creates a moment of true relaxation.
The shower walls were updated to a modern stone 12X24 tile. The Anthology White appears bright and light but encapsulates you during your showering experience. We removed the dated glass block window on the inner wall of the shower to modernize the look. The natural basketweave of cream, grey and ivory compliment the shower floor, walls, and plumbing fixtures. That niche will hold a lot of hair product. We know, we’ve tried.
The vanity areas also were upgraded, the cast integrated sinks & countertops had to go. New quartz countertops, undermounted sinks and the Delta Lahara widespread faucets bring that area current. The upgraded lighting and modern mirrors bounce light all around the room allowing every new area to shine brighter.

The client had experienced several issues with cracking tile and grout in this space due to inccorrect tile installation. We were able to correct the problem and create a beautiful bathroom.

Two vanities in a large master bathroom are a great use of space. Each white vanity allows the individual to get ready in the morning at their own pace with ample storage. To make sure storage wasn't an issue and to keep the counters clutter free, the owners chose arched door medicine cabinet mirrors for above each vanity.

This master bath had more than one challenging issue, the space had a very small shower, it had a raised floor where the drop in tub was an unsafe area to walk by.

Back to back floating vanities in vintage sunroom converted to a master bath. Windows on all walls precluded vanities against any the wall. Double sided mirrors suspended from the ceiling.

We redesigned this shower to include a new tiled shower bench, a large shower niche made from dark tiles which then contrast with the white subway tile walls, as well as new shower walls by replacing the floor-to-ceiling doors with lower Starfire glass ones.
The new shower walls and small shower window conveniently prevent steam from overtaking the entire bathroom - an ideal feature for a large master bathroom such as this one.
