Completed in 2018, this ranch house mixes midcentury modern design and luxurious retreat for a busy professional couple. The clients are especially attracted to geometrical shapes so we incorporated clean lines throughout the space. The palette was influenced by saddle leather, navy textiles, marble surfaces, and brass accents throughout. The goal was to create a clean yet warm space that pays homage to the mid-century style of this renovated home in Bull Creek.

I was hired to buy all the furniture and accessories, bring them in and place them so that the owners who lived abroad could rent this condo out furnished. The Logan Square House is the eclectic renovation of a 1800s built house in Chicago. The design pays homage to the traditional style but also throws in bits of the owners' style through the artwork and materials.

This condominium is modern and sleek, while still retaining much of its traditional charm. We added paneling to the walls, archway, door frames, and around the fireplace for a special and unique look throughout the home. To create the entry with convenient built-in shoe storage and bench, we cut an alcove an existing to hallway. The deep-silled windows in the kitchen provided the perfect place for an eating area, which we outfitted with shelving for additional storage. Form, function, and design united in the beautiful black and white kitchen. It is a cook’s dream with ample storage and counter space. The bathrooms play with gray and white in different materials and textures to create timeless looks. The living room’s built-in shelves and reading nook in the bedroom add detail and storage to the home. The pops of color and eye-catching light fixtures make this condo joyful and fun. 2013. Bedroom Interior Design by @OxaKovalli. I checked out the project. The clients are married, each with their own character - the spouse, dreamed of a romantic style. She was very fond of roses in all variations. The spouse, like all men, preferred a more terse, austere version. If you pay attention to the cabinets, they embody each character. In the "before" photo, you can see that we did not change the structure of the room - only the mood. What do you think?
