A classic, elegant master suite for the husband and wife, and a fun, sophisticated entertainment space for their family -- it was a dream project! To turn the master suite into a luxury retreat for two young executives, we mixed rich textures with a playful, yet regal color palette of purples, grays, yellows and ivories. For fun family gatherings, where both children and adults are encouraged to play, I envisioned a handsome billiard room and bar, inspired by the husband’s favorite pub.

This sublime, marble bathroom includes marble stone moldings, baseboard and a combination of sizes for interest and texture.

Master Bedroom that has a hand troweled specialty finish on the walls and a custom faux finished ceiling treatment. The sofa and lounge chairs were custom made along with all the bedding.

This lakeside luxury home in the Denver metro area is warm yet vibrant and beautifully welcoming. The interior design by Andrea Schumacher Interiors is laden with bright colors, vivid patterns and rich textures that play on the exotic side. The finished project is one where the views on the inside of the contemporary Colorado lake home rival the ones on the outside.

A lovely oval tub is centered in the corner contrasting the dramatic walls. The custom designed cabinets float above a rich clay colored limestone floor. Tubes of ribbed glass flank the mirrors and reflect a prismatic lighting effect. The circular crystal fixture also plays with light on the ceiling. •Photo by Argonaut Architectural•

Photo by Bruce Frame The clients were adamant about not changing out the tub or any of the granite throughout the bathroom so we did what we do! We worked with the rich veins of color running through the granite and lightened the space with the soft goods, like the wallpaper, rug, and whimsical fabric on the vanity chair.

This award winning small master bathroom has porcelain tiles with a warm Carrara look that creates a light, airy look. Stainless steel tiles create a horizontal rhythm and match the brushed nickle hardware. River rock on the shower floor massage feet while providing a nonskid surface. The custom vanity offers maximum storage space; the recessed medicine cabinet has an interior light that automatically turns on as well as an outlet shelf for charging shavers and toothbrushes.
