Bedroom - large tropical master carpeted bedroom idea in Orange County with beige walls and no fireplace

Our young professional clients moved to Texas from out of state and purchased a new home that they wanted to make their own. They contracted our team to change out all of the lighting fixtures and to furnish the home from top to bottom including furniture, custom drapery, artwork, and accessories. The results are a home bursting with character and filled with unique furniture pieces and artwork that perfectly reflects our sophisticated clients personality.

Traditional master bathroom in need of both form and function update. Aging in place was a primary focus for the project. We changed out a large jacuzzi tub shower combination for large walk-in shower. The shower bench, handheld shower and grab bar make shower use universal. Lighted mirrors and an articulating shaving mirror boost visibility in the vanity area. Marble tile, both Carrara and Bardiglio, in various shapes add to the overall luxurious feel in the bathroom. The Powder Room was changed from an ordinary space into a little jewel box. Complete with 24k fixtures and tiles to complement the wall covering. The Master Bedroom became a sanctuary with its soft silver and dusty aqua tones. In the Kitchen we chose to refinish the cabinets rather than replace them. The result was stunning. What a change! The dining room is modern and sophisticated, with flashes of color in the chairs, and a giant agate centerpiece trough. Quite the upgrade from what was there before. The living room features a beautifully restored Steinway piano. Plus, custom furniture and area rug. All in all, a real showpiece. One that is sophisticated, inviting, and comfortable. This was a repeat client. We had done their kitchen the previous year, and they were no ready to tackle their master bathroom. Their shower surround had been leaking for quite sometime and desperately need to be replaced. The tile was dated and worn, as was the shower door. We preserved the bathroom floor per the clients request. We replaced the vanity cabinets with fresh new shaker cabinetry and a vanity top with integrated sink to match the new cultured marble shower surround.

This was a major addition to a what had been originally an 1880's worker's house. It included a kitchen renovation, a family room addition, a sound proof music studio in the basement, a master suite, a laundry/pantry room major renovations to the existing house and 2 full baths. Only the right hand gable is original, but it did dictate the style of the house. Although the house was doubled in size, the goal was to maintain the scale and character of the original house. It also became so energy efficient that it was a net zero utility energy cost for the first year.
