Additionally, we handled the delicate paper with care to avoid over-stretching. We chose a high-tack, low-moisture adhesive. One of three bathrooms completed in this home. This bathroom serves as the guest bath, located on the first floor between the office/guest space and kitchen. Marble tiles and subtle green hues make a great impression and tie with the cool calming colors used on the first floor. Wall niches, hotel rack, and medicine cabinet help to maximize storage for guests without overcrowding the room. Wainscoting and decorative trim were paired with modern fixtures to marry traditional charm with contemporary feel.

The large custom shower is designed especially for steam showers. The transom can be closed while steaming. The steam element has controls inside the shower including an option for adding natural scented oils such as lavendar or eucalyptus. The fan controls are located right outside the shower door just in case you forget to turn it on. Either finish under the rainhead or use the multi head adjustable shower. We also opted to have this shower be curbless to visually add to the luxury appeal. Heated floors of course. For the sinks and faucetry the team opted for the Sigma Collection from Klaffs. They decided on a brushed finish to not overpower the soft, matte finish of the cabinetry. For the hardware from Du Verre, they selected a dark finish to complement the black iron window frames (which is repeated throughout the house) and then continued that color in the decorative lighting fixtures. Gorgeous master bath finished with Dal-Tile's Fabrique porcelain tile in the color Noir Linen polished. Tile size is 12"x24" installed in a brick joint pattern. The floor boasts underfloor heating on a timed thermostat.

This home began as a 1244 sf. single level home with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. We added 384 sf. of interior living space and 150 sf. of exterior space. A master bathroom, walk in closet, mudroom, living room and covered deck were added. We also moved the location of the kitchen to improve the view and layout. The completed home is 1628 sf. and 1 level.

Designed by Daniel Altmann of Reico Kitchen & Bath in Bethesda, MD this master bathroom remodel features a transitional design style inspiration with vanity cabinets from Merillat Masterpiece in the Hadley door style in Maple with a Dove White finish. This spacious master bathroom features coffee colored cabinets and Zodiaq Quartz countertops. The walls are a soft gray-blue and the floor is a ceramic tile in 6" x 24" plank. There is a separate toilet room and the walk-in shower is surrounded by a fogged glass. Next to the shower is a grand soaker tub for the ideal amount of relaxation.
