This media room was designed for karaoke gatherings as well as for watching movies. Room was created to be fun with a lot of personality and yet comfortable for gathering friends and family together. This beautiful oversized clock from Uttermost reflects the unique movie art on the opposite wall. An animal print ottoman and bright pops of orange and pink add to the fun feeling of this room.

Both Adam and Alicia Coffey had conveyed to the design team that they enjoyed East Coast flair with modern touches. Before renovations began they were still uncertain about how the designers at One Week Bath would manage to execute a redesign that reflected their individual tastes, but that still conveyed the luxurious and intimate appeal that so many homeowners strive for when remodeling their home. Much to their delight, One Week Bath exceeded their expectations.

The watery Venetian damask from Zoffany sets the mood for this Pied a Terre bedroom. We wrapped the room in a color pulled from the paper, even the doors and moldings are in this color. The wallpaper softens the hard lines of the industrial style metal bed from CB2. To purists the placement of the refurbished Mid Century nightstands with the wallpaper may seem inappropriate, but I think the nightstands are a tailored response to the exuberance of the paper. Also, if you watch TCM on a regular basis you would see such mixes all the time. The Chinese Mirror and Japanese prints reflect my client's interest in Asia and add another layer to the mix.

A modern twist is given to this master bedroom suite with a wooden interior inspired by cabin-style homes across Tahoe. This is a modern take on wooden cabins. With glass sliding doors for unobstructed views of the hills, a slanted roof, and a minimalistic interior. The master bedroom suite is divided by a low wall, with the woodwork continuing up from the floor. This purposeful division is to have the bathroom on the other side. The dividing wall is functional, serving as a backsplash for the twin sinks at the back, with mirrors hanging from the ceiling. Can you imagine watching the snowfall from this bedroom...

The homeowners loved to watch TV in bed. Instead of a traditional TV mount, we installed a hidden screen with Sonos Playbar at the foot of the bed.

Client Testimonial from project: John just completed my master bathroom gut as well as refinishing my hardwood floors and powder bath remodel. I can't say enough about John and his team. He is quick to respond, trustworthy, organized, timely, and does beautiful work. I'm an interior designer, so I know exactly how I want the finished project to look and John delivered exactly what I wanted down to the tiniest detail. My master bath was a complicated project with lots of custom details and he came up with creative ways to implement such a design. It was nice to leave on several week long vacations and not only trust that my house and belongings were safe and watched after, but also to be able to see the progress that he documented daily with photos and notes on BuilderTrend - a website that he uses to communicate with clients. I will most certainly use Ammirato Construction in the future, and well as recommend them to clients and friends. Virtual Imagery 360 Photography

The TV was not centered, which prevented us from framing the design around the TV. This family primarily uses the living room to gather and watch TV together, so the off-centered placement created a challenge. We always design spaces to function seamlessly into our clients’ everyday lives, so we had to figure out a way to work around the layout. We added a chaise in front of the TV so the family could lounge and watch together, while enjoying the living space.

Green vintage wicker is the focus in this cozy master bedroom. The king size green sleigh bed is covered in pure white bed linens. Wall sconces sit over antique end tables for easy reading. Two inch wall shelves store books and photographs. The wicker chairs provide for comfortable seating for reading or TV watching. The black wool carpet has a floral border which pulls in the color green. Peter Rymwid, Photographer
