Complete bathroom remodel. this project was taken down to the studs. Custom design vanity with spa tower which incorporates a styling tools drawer, shallow makeup drawers and plenty of functional storage. To reduce waster space under the sink we made the cabinet below more shallow in order to have a drawer below which will optimize usable storage space.

Rich earthy tones, and bringing in the exterior ledgestone to this master bedroom give it a strong, desert presence. I designed the spa master bath to provide a calming oasis by using a blend of marble tile, concrete counter tops, chrome, crystal and a refurbished antique claw foot tub.

From the beginning, I envisioned creating a clean, white palette for the overall look of the apartment, but I also wanted to create some beautiful, unexpected surprises through blocks of color. On the master bedroom wall behind the bed, I installed a vibrant turquoise green silk wallpaper. The color evokes the green waters of la Ciénaga Grande de Santa Marta (Spanish for Large Marsh of Santa Marta) in Colombia, where the black and white Leo Matíz photograph “Pavo Real del Mar” hanging over the bed was taken more than 60 years ago. Navy cabinet in this his and hers master bathroom pops against the white and neutral colors in the rest of the bathroom. The wall mounted faucets and undermount sinks pair nicely with the functionality of the vanity doors and drawers. Just behind the vanity and mirrors, you'll find the walk-in shower.
