A breathtaking hilltop view of the Pacific was the reference point for this dramatic landscape transformation. The Campion Walker team utilized succulents, water falls, textured concrete and steel to integrate the house and the raw untouched land surrounding it.

This is a corner of a larger space that just needed something. We placed a large Indonesian chest and a small Chinese stool with a sheepskin to give the space interest and texture. There was little color so we added more ethnic touches with a beautiful Costa Rican embroidered table runner on the chest and a Southwestern small rug on the floor. These very different ethnic elements all work together here to liven up an otherwise bland space. Kaskel Photo

The solution was outside jalousies for the hottest days of the year and these panels made out of white, finished wood. They are easy removable and easy to clean. BLAU + Architects

These are the most precious pale, pale pink antique shutters I found! Ones like these, are very hard to find so originally, I wanted to put these in the baby nursery that I'm doing. They were to serve their actual purpose on the window as shutters however, I was heartbroken when I decided they would not work in the nursery! The shape of them, along with the doors that I'm using for the wall, were too similar. I needed something different.
