The wall of glass panes opens end to end to expose the glistening lake and an entrance to the porch. Our family of skilled carpenters built custom tongue and groove siding to adorn the walls. The one of a kind details don’t stop there. The basement displays a nine-foot fireplace designed and built specifically for the home to keep the family warm on chilly Northern Michigan evenings. This kitchen was completely refaced with an MDF Michigan door style in white with matte black hardware. It features a Modena stone elegant crema countertop, with a herringbone tile backsplash. A pearl black sink was installed with matching faucet, drinking faucet and strainers. New casing was installed around the kitchen window. A bank of drawers was installed to the left of the fridge with upper cabinets. The floor remained the same.

Built-ins around fireplace. Staggered sized floating shelves. Glass doors for IR remotes to media components. My favorite thing about this is how the round shelves on the right tie in with those on the left and give it all closure even though the right side in not closed in.

This door model is completely flush, with two diagonal grain directions. The rich Walnut finish pops against the clean white walls and existing décor. This door line can be modified and customized to any dimension and configuration necessary. Traditional swing doors are the main style seen throughout the home, with the exception of a couple pocket doors, double doors and even a bifold door unit.
