I chose to work with Maria and Sean as I felt most comfortable in their approach to design, their understanding my priorities and approach to project coordination. They offered insightful and practical suggestions which refined and strengthened my vision. Maria's design sensibilities, attention to coordination, and Sean's expert construction industry skills and knowledge kept my renovation on time and on budget. Communication was timely and efficient. The changes I requested after finalizing design and during construction were implemented seamlessly.

The Finishers Toronto Renovations Ltd., redesigned and updated the kitchen in my small house. Maria's design makes the kitchen appear brighter and more open. The choice of light grey tiles and white backsplash is excellent. Removing an unnecessary door and two walls made a big difference. (Lots of mess but it was worth it!). Maria was very patience and after four months of searching, found the white fridge that I requested. Sean and his two assistants Shamus and Saffron did a great job, and were a pleasure to around my house. I wish them success in their future reconstruction work. Margaret

Sean and Maria are a fantastic husband and wife team we were lucky to have found for the renovation of our townhouse. It was a fairly large project involving a full gut of the kitchen, living room remodel, new cabinetry, ceilings, floors and stairs. The result is better than we expected and the whole experience was a pleasure. A couple of things stood out the most. - We loved how transparent, honest, and accurate the estimate was, allowing us to manage our budget and cash flow easily. - Awesome communication and responsiveness. From the first email and to the end, we always received a response quickly. No matter how tiny or inane the question was. - Project Management was top-notch. As with any project, unexpected issues are bound to pop up, but these were identified early and brought to our attention with solutions. Very quickly we knew we did not have to worry. - Design. Nick and I had a collection of ideas, but Sean and Maria pulled it all together and brought them to life. It was easy to just say yes to all of their suggestions, and we are glad we did because the end result looks way better! If I could sum up the whole project in one line, it would be having 2 safe pairs of hands while your life gets back to normal.

The Finishers renovated two bathrooms and the foyer at our High Park condo in the summer of 2021. Overall the experience was excellent from start to finish - we would highly recommend Sean and Maria and would definitely use them again for future projects. From our first telephone call it was very comfortable working with the team. Our vision for the project was easy to communicate and they made several great suggestions to really help bring the concept to completion. Both Sean and Maria have a fine sense of style and they work well together to make practical recommendations which meant we didn't have very many tough decisions to make. We also appreciated that we were fully aware of the few risks related to our project and what the possible impact could be. Once the concept was defined we had a nice, efficient day with The Finishers visiting suppliers to select parts and materials for our project, the quality of which must be said are quite good! A few days later we received a comprehensive package outlining our selections and we had sufficient time to modify the plan before the final orders were processed in preparation for our start date. At this point we had a very clear image of exactly how everything was going to turn out and we felt very comfortable where we were headed. The project itself was managed by the extremely well organised Maria which made us entirely at ease with the arrangement. She handled the sub trades, suppliers, and condo manager and we just had to sit back and receive the daily updates which were both highly appreciated and anticipated. On the few occasions where changes to the plan were required we had a clear explanation of the issue and the available options to resolve it. In the end the project was completed both on budget and on time - this was no small feat and quite important to us. Overall we are very happy with the finished product - Sean really has an exceptional attention to detail and when you combine his high standard of workmanship with the quality parts and materials the result is definitely something to be proud of.

We had a complete renovation of our main floor and second floor which included a brand new kitchen, bathroom, new flooring, new ceiling, new staircase design, masonry work and installing a new patio door -- just to name a few things. From the very beginning, Maria and Sean were friendly and relatable and set themselves apart from other contractors we met by providing us with an extremely detailed proposal so we knew what to expect in terms of timelines and pricing. With this being our very first renovation, The Finishers made the whole process as seamless and easy for us as we could imagine. They answered all of our questions in detail, gave us their recommendations but never pushed us to do anything we didn't want to do. Their communication was great when the project was in progress, giving us regular updates and coordinating all of the sub-trades during the entire project. Maria was extremely helpful in sourcing all of our finishes, matched our design aesthetic, and also finished our whole renovation on schedule. We would highly recommend The Finishers and would definitely work with them again on any future projects.

So incredibly happy with the work The Finishers did on our home. Sean and Maria designed and built our dream bathroom and laundry room. Sean and Maria put the same amount of care and effort into our project that they would in their own home. We worked with them to create a detailed budget and were able to prioritize what was most important to us. We really appreciated their attention to detail and wonderful craftsmanship. We hired The Finishers to complete a renovation of our main floor and basement which included flooring, tiling, electrical, plumbing, painting, washrooms and staircase overhaul among other things. Right from the first couple of meetings, Maria and Sean set themselves apart from the other contractors that we had met with. They were very friendly and personable as well as very thorough and informative in the walking through the process. Their design aesthetic aligned perfectly with our vision and style for the place. They were also the most thorough and detailed in providing project plans, estimates and timelines as well as explaining any reasoning or questions that we had about it. We appreciated the fact that The Finishers work on one project at a time. They were extremely organized in the co-ordination of all sub trades and very communicative throughout. They came up with creative ideas whenever any challenges arose. This fairly sizeable project (in our eyes) was completed on time despite all the challenges posed due to the COVID-19 pandemic starting shortly after the work commenced. We are very pleased with the outcome of the project and would highly recommend The Finishers. We look forward to working them on future projects.

I had an extensive renovation which involved the kitchen, master bathroom and powder room, as well as Kitec water pipe replacement throughout the house. Maria and Sean managed the project from beginning to end which made the process painless for me. They provided a detailed estimate which was real and accurate. Maria was amazing with the design as well as with helping me pick my fixtures and finishes. Sean answered all my technical questions and did the job beautifully! They were so great at communicating the reno progress as I was travelling for most of the renovation period. I highly recommend them to friends and family. You will never work with another team like Maria and Sean! They are extremely knowledgeable and professional and outstanding to work with. They really are as wonderful as they seem. I interviewed more than a dozen renovators before deciding on The Finishers and I am so glad I did. Maria is a genius at project management and sourcing. I truly don't know how I could have completed my renovation without Maria to keep me organized and on track. Sean is a phenomenal craftsman and really understands what makes sense and what is not advisable. They are very down to earth and practical. When they are working on your project, they are focused on you. They keep to their commitments and timelines. My condo management team told me they had never before encountered such a nice and professional team of renovators. Together, they are truly the dream team. I cannot contemplate undertaking another renovation without them!

Marie and Sean are a fantastic team! They are very professional and friendly. They were open to our ideas and provided constructive feedback when needed. Maria and Sean are a great team to have on your side! We loved the fact that we could leave our project in their capable hands and trust that they would deal with the sourcing of the materials, contractors and strata. They were able to work within our timeline, always kept us updated on the progress (even when we were on vacation!) and were very responsive to our ideas and comments. The job was done well and on time. They were meticulous to every detail and quickly fixed any items that we were not 100% satisfied with. They are trustworthy and they did the majority of the work while we were travelling, so that we didn't have to live with the majority of the construction. I would definitely consider hiring them again.

I hired The Finishers to replace my kitchen counters and sink. The counters were delivered and installed, Sean inspected them, discovered imperfections in the finish around some of the edges and had them taken out right then and the old counters re-installed. I was extremely impressed with his work ethic and high standards. The next counters that came in were perfect! I also had them make a custom glass shower door, which again was perfect. I would, and have, recommended them to friends.

Our changes encompassed the master ensuite bathroom, and the kitchen. Very professional and thorough; great job done with documenting the project, plans and finishes for the job and the actual contract; no cost overruns; job done exactly on schedule; most pleasant husband and wife team to work with - very knowledgeable, caring, and committed to doing quality work. Work done was excellent, with no issues. Love the design, the craftsmanship, the quality of the finishes.
