The issues that annoyed the family in this condo are common to new condo units: Low ceilings covered with a popcorn finish, small rooms, low light in the bedrooms and living room, and no ceiling light fixtures. Concrete ceilings are not only difficult to drill into to install fixtures, installing wiring behind them for such fixtures is impossible. There are often conduits for building services embedded in the concrete along with structural steel reinforcements, so drilling without x-raying first is dangerous.
Laqfoil stretch ceiling provided a solution to all of these issues for this condo unit. A high gloss finish was chosen, as the reflections visually double the height of the space. Installing a stretch ceiling also naturally conceals the popcorn ceiling behind it, but in this case, was also used to conceal the wiring necessary to add ceiling lights in every room. The wiring was simply attached to the existing popcorn ceiling. Laqfoil stretch ceiling is supported around the perimeter only, by tracks, or profiles which are only about 0.75" thick. The ceiling membrane itself is less than one millimetre thick.
We also added a small vector graphic, printed in each corner of the living room ceiling, for a unique aesthetic effect.
We constructed a suspended bulkhead above the island and covered it with red high gloss membrane, to visually separate the kitchen and living room while keeping the design's open concept. This also provided a supporting structure for 3 mini chandelier pendant lights.
A red rose depicted on a black and white textured ground was chosen for the kitchen ceiling and applied using digital wide format printing technology, to tie the red, black and white colour scheme with the kitchen cabinets' texture.

Modern minimalism as a basis for unusual, expressive art objects and author’s painting. This is what determined the main style of the living space. The concept was based on such materials as concrete and plaster, natural wood and stone. The interior had to be as natural as possible, reflecting the architectural image of the residential complex and the beauty of the surrounding nature. “The most important thing for me in this project is the result. Customers say that the interior has become their place of power! They want to return home, invite guests, spend a lot of time in their house and enjoy life here! It is very valuable and important that the project was realized almost 100%, while the customers themselves were interested not to deviate even a millimeter from the project, but to do everything exactly as the Author intended,” emphasized project designer Ksenia Mitskevich.
Coswick oak Cinnamon hardwood flooring was used in the project.

Claude Clémaron had the pleasure of creating this large bespoke fitted dressing room for our clients’ residence in Esher, Surrey. The made to measure floor to ceiling wardrobes and integrated drawers are built to the highest quality with every detail tailored to the couple’s exact specification. Mirrors are a key aspect of this dedicated ‘his and hers’ dressing room, and they also enhance the natural light, add glamour, and create an illusion of space. Handcrafted in oak with a lacquer finish, the built in furniture has a classic elegance that will always be in style.
Classical elegance, real oak quality
All the cabinetry is made of solid oak wood and real oak veneer, both inside and out, and flawlessly spraypainted in Farrow and Ball’s Worsted. This lovely neutral mid grey has an understated richness with cold tones and makes perfect neutral background shade for a stylish his and hers dressing room. Ultra-slim, long, premium metal bar handles elevate the look even further. The vanity unit with an illuminated oak-framed mirror and drawers features a clear safety glass top to protect the counter from cosmetic and perfume spills. And an unsightly radiator had a bespoke cabinet cover created to blend seamlessly with the windowsill.
Illuminated interiors with tailored storage
Behind the mirrored soft-close doors, the matching grey cabinet interiors are fully customised with a range of storage features. These include internal felt and velvet-lined drawers for jewellery, watches, and belts. Concealed, vertical automatic LED lighting in all the closets. Double height hanging rails and cleverly crafted pull-out trays with low fronts for easy viewing and access. High-level open shelves with useful dividers for less frequently used items. Every millimetre of space has been immaculately crafted to accommodate every item in our clients’ collections from coats to cufflinks.

I am a stickler for perfection and when I design I look at every little detail to the last millimetre in each space. None of this just happens - it takes many hours of planning, drawing, choosing just the right finishes, fabrics and wall paper, and then designing the furniture to fit the space perfectly and in the correct materials and fabrics. I designed this rug and chose the colours of the wool which was hand knotted in Tibet and took 3 months to make and ship to Cape Town. It is always such a delight when we roll out a rug we haven’t seen the end result of and we are so pleased with the way this one turned out. I chose a lovely patterned fabric for the backs of the dining chairs and had the end table chairs made in a double size so that two people can sit at the head if need be. The table is made of solid Oak which is sandblasted to show off the grain and has a light grey wash. The wall paper on the fireplace is very textured and adds depth to the room. The wall paper on the ceiling inside the bulkhead is iridescent and gives the ceiling a lovely glow. Our curtains are beautifully made and adds luxury and warmth. Never skimp on curtaining as badly made curtains can instantly cheapen a room. The light fitting is discreet when switched off so as not to detract from the stunning ocean views when the curtains are open.

Sei as in six millimeters, which is the thickness of tops, side panels, shelves, and accessories... panels like blades; only Italian flair can achieve such effects. I juggled with materials and colors, mixing wood, marble, steel, and laminate for a single purpose: to implement a simple but functional project with a wealth of super materials and interior and the use of colours.
All this was made possible by artisan traditions, attention to details and technological innovation.

Warmth meets precision in this custom kitchen, where a recessed walnut slat ceiling crowns the space and defines the work zone below. A waterfall-edge island anchors it all, with integrated Bosch appliances — including a built-in coffee station — keeping the lines seamless. Thoughtful design, executed to the millimeter.
