Design ideas for a mid-sized modern drought-tolerant and partial sun side yard stone and wood fence walkway in San Francisco.

Barn style doors are a unique focal point and add rustic charm to any interior. Sliding barn doors are also space savers since they are level with the wall when opened; keeping spaces open and airy. Made in the US at our Pacific Northwest facility, each of our hand-crafted barn doors are made to order and come fully assembled, ready to hang. Choose from several configurations including Two Panel Plank, Crossbuck, Double Crossbuck and Arch Top. Doors are constructed of special-grade Pacific Northwest Douglas Fir, kiln-dried to prevent wood movement with full-dimension framing on front and back for added strength. Doors are sold unfinished allowing you to paint, stain or distress to suit your individual décor. All doors ship for a flat $50 fee within the continental US. See the Barn Pros website for more information.

Large Experimental Abstract Art Piece Titled: "Out of Line" In a chic contemporary loft space with dark grey concrete walls is a large unique, abstract artwork titled, "Out of Line". The artwork is alive with fluid yet chaotic black lines that seem to be in motion. Blends and blurs of deep turquoise, vibrant orange, and seductive purple are mixed thought the piece. You might imagine this feeling as a 'clean messiness', or a ' luxe grunge style'. It's a eye-catching creative atmosphere for the multicultural urbanite. Art is mounted to an elegant, matte acrylic glass. Art arrives ready to hang. Tucked into a corner of the dining room, this butler’s pantry is small but has a lot of style, with its metal grout joints and oversize antiqued tile. We repeated the brass plumbing fixture – it’s from the same collection as the kitchen faucet. The clean, sleek lines are perfect for this small space. Photo © Alyssa Rosenheck 2016

A seemingly minor but important touch is found below the Fijian Mahogany decking in the Cedar screened-in porch. A screen was placed in-between the framing joists and the decking to keep unwanted insects from getting in from underneath the porch.

We cannot take credit for the expansive 40-year old oak that shades the driveway and wraps the home in privacy. The owners credit the squirrels! Established tree canopy like this is literally priceless - it adds value to the Retreat, and also neighboring homes.
