Location: Spring Lake, NJ, US Our design goal for this renovation and addition was to present a modern interpretation of Colonial Plantation Style. This home features dark wood floors, wood paneling and a light soothing color scheme. The Dining Room features classic silk De Gournay Wallpaper which further fuses the indoor and outdoor seamlessness of the home. The amazing tile installations permeate the decor with color, texture and pattern. The shaker-style kitchen is refreshed by using black cabinetry, a custom stainless hood and La Cornue Range. We enjoyed adding vintage finds throughout - a farm table for the Kitchen, Bergere chairs in the Entry, and a Victorian Flower mirror in the Powder Room. threshold interiors ensures that your beach retreat is elegant, transitional and most importantly comfortable and relaxing! The custom glass shower and mosaic tile enclosure helps both separate and unify the space depending on the mood of its occupants. The space was planned so the husband and wife would have adequate privacy but could meet romantically in the middle. The banks of windows does not interfere and allows in as much natural morning light as possible keeping with the overhang of the roof. Truly a master bath where body and soul can relax.

We completely reconfigured this 2-level home in a Boston historic neighborhood to bring it to today’s style of living. The mechanical room was in the center of the lower level. We shifted its location along with nearly every other space in the home. It’s now a stunning, bright entertaining space. We selected beautiful furnishings that offer a fresh take on traditional. A complete new home – start to finish.
