We hired Renovation Planning to help us with an extensive renovation and redecorating project that included moving the laundry room from the basement to the second floor, moving the office to the first floor, refreshing the kitchen and refurnishing the living room, dining room and master bedroom. Jeff and his team were able to take a very complex project with a lot of moving parts and make it manageable. Jeff was very patient with us and developed a plan that not only turned an underutilized room into an elegant office, but also changed the flow of the living room to make it much more functional. He also developed a plan to update the kitchen and found space to add a second oven. The contractors and vendors Jeff and Lindsay recommended were all first rate. All were responsive and the work was of the highest quality. The general contractor was very responsive and did his best to make the house livable during a project that touched almost every room. We have done several renovations and this was our best experience with a contractor by far. Both Jeff and Lindsay took the time to get a good sense of our style and love of color. We ended up with mostly new furniture in the living room, dining room, and master bedroom. We added window treatments and custom cabinetry. The end result is beautiful, and they really made the whole process easy.

We worked with Jeff and his team for our kitchen renovation in Brookline. Jeff was amazing from day 1, meeting us at the listing and giving us some guidance prior to our purchase of the property. He suggested some additional modifications to the closets and our "master" bath, which I am so thankful for looking back. I truly love our new combined kitchen and dining space and, as someone who loves to host, it is entirely functional. Lindsay had a great eye for color, helping us with all of our paint/backsplash/fixture needs as well as some final furnishings to make our space homey prior to finally moving in. Our strict budget and very very difficult condo neighbors were added difficulties for this job, but the team, particularly the wonderful contractor Jeff connected us with, handled things perfectly. I look forward working with Jeff again.

I hired Jeff and Lindsay to help me renovate my kitchen and dining room. It was a huge project, involving moving walls and plumbing, adding a bathroom, and installing central AC to my old house. They were great! I honestly couldn't have done it without their guidance and patience. Jeff helped me visualize several different layouts, representing a range of costs. There was no pressure, but they gave me straightforward opinions. They asked questions, gave me lots of suggestions and options, and in the end, I have a very cool space that truly reflects me and my way of life. We could not be more pleased with our renovation project! What started out as a kitchen remodel turned into an almost complete condo redo. Although we had an idea of how we wanted our Kitchen, Jeffs knowledge and creativity helped transform it into a beautiful space. We loved his attention to detail and functionality. "Trust Me" was what Jeff said and we are glad we did! The coffered ceiling we were so reluctant to do is one of our favorite features. Jeff was there every step of the process, from meeting with the contractor to keeping us updated on work progress and overseeing all the finishing touches. Lindsay, was also amazing, she helped us step outside our comfort zone helping pick out furniture, rugs, tiles and colors for the living room, bedrooms and bathroom. I hired Renovation Planning to assist with the remodel of my bathroom/laundry/closet space in an older loft building in Boston's South End. From the outset, the team was very well organized and presented me with several different options for the space. Once the project started they were able to effectively manage both the property manager and contractor. Jeff is a thoughtful, hard working professional who manages to make the renovation process as stress-free as possible. He had great vision for our project and was attentive to cost while ensuring that the finished design would exceed our expectations. His crew of electricians, painters, contractors, etc. were all timely, pleasant, and had a great pride of workmanship. His designer, Lindsay, was easy to work with and had great suggestions for purchasing new furniture and accessories while integrating our existing furniture as much as possible. Renovation Planning was fantastic! Jeff and Lindsay helped us create/ transform our newly purchased house into a beautiful home. They did many things well but most noteworthy Jeff made an area of small dark rooms with a low ceiling into a magnificent open light filled kitchen. They opened the second floor of our colonial house by vaulting the ceiling above the stairs and placing skylights. It now feels spacious and bright. The master bath has beautifully chosen tile and fixtures which makes it feel luxurious and special. All rooms were meticulously thought out, creating an open floor plan and black trimmed windows and doors to tie it all together. Throughout the process they flexible, responsive and organized. They were up front about all charges, billing and invoices were prompt and thorough and easy to understand. They anticipated our needs on many occasions and made the process as painless as a renovation could be. We highly recommend them!

We originally hired Renovation Planning to design extensive built-ins and closetry for our new Beacon Hill home. The goal was to make city living feasible for our family of four in a relatively small space. We were so impressed by Jeff and Lindsay's professionalism at the outset that we quickly broadened the scope to include decorating as well. Their Rolodex is full of talented cabinetmakers, upholsterers, wallpaper, carpet and window treatment professionals who clearly brought their A-game to this project. Vendor turnarounds were swift and well-managed. We were especially wowed by Lindsay's innate ability to find needles in haystacks at the Boston Design Center. Every part of the process - from the client meetings to the CAD drawings to the installation - was marked by Renovation Planning's insistence that the client be 110% satisfied with the end result.
