This 1980’s condo on the East Bank, was ready for some updates to personalize their master bedroom/bath. Inspired by a recent trip to Asia, the clients were eager for a solid shower floor. After much searching, Azul blue Brazilian granite was selected with a custom Schluter drain system. To complement the gray and blue tones, gray travertine was selected for the floors and walls with a blue recycled glass accent. To carry the modern custom look onto the vanity wall, two stacked floating vanities were designed. The Azul granite was installed, modern faucet and basin, as well as the blue glass tile to the ceilings. Custom lighting finishes off the space. Inspiration for a contemporary staircase remodel in San Francisco

Small in scale but rich in detail, an interior designer brought a jewel box vision to life in the kitchen of her 1900 Georgetown row home. Drawing from the lush backyard garden, she chose Snaidero cabinetry in Alps Green and Burnished Gold Mica Matte Lacquers, paired with Bronzed frame glass units for the uppers and white quartz counters with gold veining. Handleless cabinets and clean lines help the space feel open, elegant, and ideal for entertaining.

This recently built Bethesda home features two distinctive staircases that share a cohesive design language. The main staircase pairs natural wood treads with sleek steel horizontal rods, creating clean lines. The black wood newels and handrail create striking contrast with the lighter details. A custom spiral staircase echoes this aesthetic with jet-black metal triangular frames supporting natural wood treads. The geometric structure winds upward, maintaining the same material palette of warm wood and dark metal found throughout the home's vertical connections. 1976-2026 © Century Stair Company
