This beautiful contemporary home office was designed for multiple activities. First we needed to provide all of the required office functions from computer and the associated hardware to a beautiful as well as functional desk and credenza. The unusual shape of the ceilings was a design inspiration for the cabinetry. Functional storage installed below open display centers brought together practical and aesthetic components. The furnishings were designed to allow work and relaxation in one space. comfortable sofa and chairs combined in a relaxed conversation area, or a spot for a quick afternoon nap. A built in bar and large screen TV are available for entertaining or lounging by the fire. cleverly concealed storage keeps firewood at hand for this wood-burning fireplace. A beautiful burnished brass light fixture completes the touches of metallic accents.

This spacious West Chester kitchen features Fabuwood cabinetry with Galaxy style doors in linen. The counter tops are Colonial White, and the back splash is Ocean Sand Dollar 3”x9” subway tile. This duel island kitchen features modern amenities such as state of the art stainless appliances, (including a microwave drawer) and cabinetry with soft close drawers and doors.
Previously, the kitchen was small, dark, closed in, and not very functional. We realized we could make an awesome space to share with family and friends by removing a 13 foot partition wall separating the kitchen from a lightly used dining/living area. The result was spectacular!
The new kitchen extends all the way to the outside wall where we created a custom bench under the large window for a cozy cat nap, or a back seat cook. While we were at it, we replaced the flooring throughout with sawmill Oak engineered wood.
We thought of everything for this young family- dimmable LED under cabinet lights and recessed lighting add to the versatility of this massive space, while the elegant hanging pendants add interest and warmth to this bright and airy kitchen! No Doubt, a clean, classic look that will last and last.

Embracing the challenge of grounding this open, light-filled space, our Boulder studio focused on comfort, ease, and high design. The built-in lounge is flanked by storage cabinets for puzzles and games for this client who loves having people over. The high-back Living Divani sofa is paired with U-Turn Benson chairs and a "Rabari" rug from Nanimarquina for casual gatherings. The throw pillows are a perfect mix of Norwegian tapestry fabric and contemporary patterns. In the child's bedroom, we added an organically shaped Vitra Living Tower, which also provides a cozy reading niche. Bold Marimekko fabric colorfully complements more traditional detailing and creates a contrast between old and new. We loved collaborating with our client on an eclectic bedroom, where everything is collected and combined in a way that allows distinctive pieces to work together. A custom walnut bed supports the owner's tatami mattress. Vintage rugs ground the space and pair well with a vintage Scandinavian chair and dresser.
Combining unexpected objects is one of our favorite ways to add liveliness and personality to a space. In the little guest bedroom, our client (a creative and passionate collector) was the inspiration behind an energetic and eclectic mix. Similarly, turning one of our client's favorite old sweaters into pillow covers and popping a Native American rug on the wall helped pull the space together. Slightly eclectic and invitingly cozy, the twin guestroom beckons for settling in to read, nap or daydream. A vintage poster from Omnibus Gallery in Aspen and an antique nightstand add period whimsy.

The custom swing structure provides the homeowners with a quiet place to relax away from the main activity spaces. Many naps have been taken here already.

Instead of the traditional sofa/chair seating arrangement, four comfy chairs allow for gathering, reading, conversation and napping.

The fishing pond at this project’s home ranch is down a steep slope, some distance from the main compound. To providing shelter from fast-moving storms, a lunch spot, or just a great place for a nap, the owners asked us to design a small fishing cabin. To ensure it blended in to its environment as much as possible, we chose indigenous materials—such as boulders displaced by mining and local reclaimed timbers—to help solidify the connection between the structure and the site. A sod roof seeded with native grasses and resident wildflowers further connects this structure to its surroundings.
Now the fishing cabin is the favorite place for teaching the grandkids how to fish, or for a summer afternoon swim, or simply for reading a good book in front of the crackling fireplace.
