This backyard is a dream come true for the family that loves to host! With multiple entertainment areas, you can relax in the hot tub or mingle in the outdoor entertainment area. Once you step inside you can pour yourself a beer at the bar, take a seat at the dining room table, or get cozy by the fireplace on a chilly evening – this backyard really is perfect for year-round entertainers!
The quality of the materials and products used was of great importance to this wonderful family. Having commercial quality cooking appliances including a large grill, double side-burner, refrigerator, and beer dispenser were must haves in the backyard kitchen. Showcasing the beauty and character of wood and the need for natural light was desired from the initial conception. Incorporating fun details including the barn doors, mixed siding, lighting, woodstove, and bar shelf has lead to wonderful conversations about the owner’s desire to combine “some contemporary elements with the flavor of Bend.” We took great care in laying out the space to give three individual areas for groups of 2-4 people to have semi-private conversations and a fourth area with a large table for up to 12 people.
There's plenty of space outside the kitchen area to mingle in the gardens, the new deck with lighted stairs, or relax in the hot tub. As you can see, every detail of this project was thought through to create the perfect space for entertainment and relaxation.

The Kitchen WitchThis kitchen is light filled with natural light streaming through surrounding vintage style windows and new large openings in the wall leading into the living and dining spaces. The wall was opened in a thoughtful way, keeping the vintage flavor of the home in a 21st century living style and proving old and new can be best friends.
INSPIRED KITCHEN DESIGN“While researching about IKEA cabinets the one problem that came up repeatedly was the ordering process due to the number of parts needed. I came across IKD during our search, which helped to solve this issue. When I went to IKD’s site and read the testimonials, I was convinced that this would enable me to be the most successful at designing my dream kitchen,” she says.
To complement the Rustic Country kitchen look, Teresa also selected a variety of high-end appliances, including a Whirlpool refrigerator; a Bosch dishwasher; a GE microwave; a Frigidaire Gallery Gas Range freestanding oven; quartz countertops; white matte brick tile for the backsplash and pendant lighting from Lowes.
This established the clean, simple look she wanted as well.
The results are a warm and open IKEA kitchen with a lot of homegrown flavor!
It includes a large center island (which provides ample storage options and countertop space as well as an Old Farmer’s meat market sign); a custom-covered rustic hood; Luxury vinyl flooring from Lumbar Liquidators and plenty of natural lighting to highlight the paintings of barns, pigs and other farm animals found throughout the space and the adjoining living room.

MT Kitchen Cabinets, IncThis kitchen features a 2 tone styling with a natural quatersawn oak composite veneer in the primary cooking area, and a secondary L shape done in an Iceberg white to mix things up a bit. By introducing a second color to the cabinets, it adds flavor without being overly busy.

UGUYS Development LLCInside, we started with laminated beams and a structural steel beam to open up the floor plan. Our finish design stayed true to an overall transitional theme, with dashes of contemporary flavor throughout. Simple and elegant white, grey, and oak tones paired well with shaker style cabinetry and custom woodwork. Natural white oak floors showcased the open floor plan, while rich coffered ceilings brought it to life. Tasteful lighting, a bright white soaking tub, wow-factor tile, and a sleek fireplace give just the right amount of contemporary touch to complete our vision.

Level Custom BuildOur client wanted a contemporary kitchen with a design that balanced aesthetics, function and space. We we're able to fit a large island with waterfall edges on both sides and maintain 48" spacing. All appliances were had built-in panels fitted and we even built a custom panel at the bottom of the fridge and mini-fridge to add a little more flavor to the design. We also added a lot of lighting to the unit as it had plenty of natural light but lacked good lighting options in the evening.
