Get an Accent Wall If you’re moving into a new apartment/home or you’re finally getting to that laundry list of renovations; here’s one statement piece that will set your place apart from the rest: an accent wall. An accent wall is simply a wall that features a color that's different from the rest of the walls. It could be a green wall along the sea of beige walls or a peach wall amongst a palette of white walls. It serves as an eye-opener for guests entering the room, delivering an upbeat, fresh tone in your house. Still need more convincing on why you need an accent wall? Here's a list of how accent walls are an absolute game-changer for your place: It gives your room personality. This rule is pretty straightforward. Add a bright or even neutral color to just one wall, and it will make any room pop. The key is to select colors that play up a specific area in your home. If you have a girl nursery room, you can paint one wall cotton candy pink to highlight the plush toys and brightly colored crib. To make your office space look more "official," emphasize your creative zone with a black, front-facing accent wall that shows off your flashy accessories and computers while giving you the perfect color to concentrate in. A burnt orange accent wall is the perfect look for a living room space accompanied by a tall plant, rug, sofa, and coffee table. What can beat a beautifully painted accent wall? We would have to answer an amazingly textured wall of stone. This stone accent wall idea is covered in Oyster Shell Natural Quartzite Ledge stone. The wall is highlighted with lighting above which captures the natural quartzite adding a sparkle to the finish. Yes, it will cost you more to put stone veneer but it will be worth it. This entire stone panel wall becomes the focal point of the room. This is something that you can do yourself if you have the time and the know how. Create this wall in your home as a weekend project. You really can add stone to your interior wall and make a big impact to any room.

We used cool tones of blue and gray for this client's serene basement renovation project paired with subdued coastal accents. One of our main goals for this project was to transform our client's office space complete with a soft blue and gray accent wall, flat roman window treatment, and walnut floating shelves; as well as subtle gold accents in both the artwork and hardware on this gorgeous custom desk.

The key to creating a desirable bedroom which inspires a blissful night’s sleep was not just down to the bed and giant custom designed headboard, it came with all the added extras. The over bed storage, all in white was created to reflect our client’s taste and to suit her individual requirement for additional space. We incorporated spotlights and adjustable lamps within the storage space to provide her with greater flexibility. A druzy quartz knobs with gem-like shine were handpicked by our client for a natural finishing touch.

Essex County natural stone veneer covers this accent wall in a all season room. Bringing the outside in with stone veneer is made beautiful with natural stone. The blue sofa in this space further draws your eye to the various earth colour tones in the natural stone. This is a space that will be easy to relax in.
