W Design Interiors, also know as W Design, is an Interior Design Firm located in Menlo Park, California. W Design Interiors was founded by Sydney Wachhorst in 2004. After more than a decade of success designing home interiors, assisting on architectural plans and making clients visions into realities, Sydney has expanded her visions into the garden. This allows her to combine timeless design with the latest design trends inside and out. Sydney and her team are committed to bringing clients beautiful designs and managing projects with meticulous organization and attention to detail. W Design’s Bay Area client base spans from Woodside to Los Altos, and also includes vacation homes in Sun Valley, Tahoe and Carmel. Sydney is a pleasure to collaborate with and a true professional. As someone who works fulltime, there's no way I could have gotten my project done without her. She helped me define a vision, did all the legwork, presented me with excellent options, helped with key decisions, and then followed through to execute on them. She also acted as the primary interface with the general contractor and kept the project progressing on time and within budget. Even more importantly, the job turned out great. Working with Sydney and Maile at W Design was a pleasure. They were clear and decisive and easy to collaborate with. Their design work is beautiful and sometimes bold, with added dashes of the unexpected. You could tell that they listened to their clients and adjusted their designs to suit the needs of the homeowner. W Design pulled together fantastic spaces, regardless of the size of the room, that were able to accommodate personal touches.

I have worked with W Design Interiors, LLC on multiple projects and have always been impressed. Sydney brings a wealth of knowledge to every project and has a wonderful personality. She is always easy to work with and makes a concerted effort to provide the necessary information needed on time and in a professional manner. Sydney is well connected in the San Francisco Bay Area and always has a source that can help with difficult design challenges that arise on projects. She is organized and very conscious of her client's goals and budget. Overall, Sydney is a great team player and someone that her clients will consider as a good friend by the time the project is complete.

Commented: Love the railing. Please tell me more!The railing is steel and powder coated with cables. If your GC has a good metal worer or stair company, they should be able to help you design a similar feel.

Commented: CushionsI actually don't recall where we found the pillows but I would recommend checking with Room and Board as they carry many velvet pillows that are in a variety of sizes.
