Blue painted Brookhaven cabinets with a mix of quartz and walnut plank countertops. The appliances are in a matte finish with copper accents that match the copper farmer sink.

This great room is filled with natural light all day long with windows all across the back from Western Window Systems. It is the perfect gathering place for cooking, dining or just relaxing. The white oak floors provide a lovely contrast to the white shaker style cabinetry while the marble and quartz counter tops finish off the kitchen counters.

Defining the space between the kitchen and the informal dining room is a console table flanked on both sides by vintage lucite draperies. Jennifer had purchased them without having a plan in mind, and until recently, they stayed in the same bag that she brought them home in 17 years ago.
Jennifer recalls the numerous times that she had tried selling these pieces over the years, to no avail. "Once I took them out of storage and hung them, anyone that saw them wanted to know where they came from!" she laughs.

After just completing a project for a client's second home, the house accidentally caught fire and most of the exisiting structure and furnishings was burned. This unfortunate episode allowed us an opportunity to create the dream home that our clients always wanted. After the fire, we were able to remodel an entirely new space including a wood celing with beams, venetian plaster walls, and wide plank white oak flooring. The installation although eclectic, reflects a mediterranean atmosphere filled with light and texture.

This Sweet 100 Tomato is so prolific I am having a hard time containing its enthusiasm with numerous support systems. Cherry tomatoes are packed with flavor and have more sugar content than larger size tomatoes. It is impossible not to pick one and eat it while I am working. :-)

The original kitchen in this condominium was renovated arising from the need to replace Kitec plumbing. The work triangle remained generally the same, but numerous changes were made to improve the kitchen’s functionality, aesthetics, and lighting. Automation was also introduced. The goal was to design and build a modern contemporary functional kitchen with inspiring colours accented with textured wood features.
The functionality was improved with the addition of an under counter microwave, which freed up countertop space. Additional and improved storage was also created by incorporating under cabinet drawers throughout the kitchen, a bar area with open glass shelving above, and open shelving to the right of the seating area. Upper cabinet storage was as well increased with storage above the fridge.
Numerous lighting improvements were made including the addition of potlights. This was done by dropping the ceiling in the kitchen, which also created a visual division with the dining area. Automation was introduced as well into the space with HUE under cabinet lighting, and a touch faucet. The under cabinet lights are controlled by the Phillips Hue App that programs routines, scenes, and other settings.
The kitchen features painted Shaker cabinets accented by textured wood shelving. The countertop surfaces are quartz with waterfalls on both sides of the island, which is a focal point. Shapes are also strongly identified in the design with the use of triangular tiles in the backsplash along with rectangular upper cabinets, and appliance doors and drawers. The kitchen is made most unique though with the uplifting use of colour in the cabinets that make this a bright and cheerful space.

This residential project was specially created for the Vancouver-based designer Gaile Guevara, her mandate being to imagine a soothing bedroom in neutral shades. She was at first charmed by our previous projects when she visited our website. She then contacted us to customize a world map she liked on our image bank.
We developed an exclusive pre-pasted wallpaper, using shades that matched an existing fabric swatch.
The final result adds a distinctive and sophisticated charm that accentuates the atmosphere. Since then, we have developed a professional relationship that brings us now to take part in many projects under Gaile’s direction.
