Showed above is a captivating and unusual kitchen design project. For our client, it was crucially important to have a glass backsplash and countertop made in gold color. Unfortunately, no one could make his ideas real; since that was a unique interior design solution. But he did not want to give up on his concept. Thanks to our vast experience in designing and manufacturing glass products, we are able to bring the most daring interior design solutions to reality. And when the client turned to us, we were able to offer several options of how his idea could be possible.

This after photo showcases this urban contemporary kitchen remodel. The client was looking for a high gloss urban contemporary look. They don't cook often, but they do entertain so we installed a Miele speed cooker below the countertop and a Miele pullout recirculating hood above the cooktop. The hood turns on automatically when pulled out. The cabinets are IKEA Absrakt High Gloss Grey with IKEA Lansa hardware. The countertops are Granite Azule Patino. The backsplash is a beautiful 4x12 Gloss Spirit tile in Arctic White in a stacked pattern and the accent tile is Capri Blue Grotto linear glass by Precious Gemstone with a light pewter epoxy grout. For the island we created a unique keyhole design to allow for seating at the end and a much larger surface for entertaining. The interior offers several full extension drawers for storage.

Spectacular Rustic/Modern Basement Renovation - The large unfinished basement of this beautiful custom home was transformed into a rustic family retreat. The new space has something for everyone and adds over 1800 sq. feet of living space with something for the whole family. The walkout basement has plenty of natural light and offers several places to gather, play games, or get away. A home office and full bathroom add function and convenience for the homeowners and their guests. A two-sided stone fireplace helps to define and divide the large room as well as to warm the atmosphere and the Michigan winter nights. The undeniable pinnacle of this remodel is the custom, old-world inspired bar made of massive timber beams and 100 year-old reclaimed barn wood that we were able to salvage from the iconic Milford Shutter Shop. The Barrel vaulted, tongue and groove ceiling add to the authentic look and feel the owners desired. Brookhaven, Knotty Alder cabinets and display shelving, black honed granite countertops, Black River Ledge cultured stone accents, custom Speake-easy door with wrought iron details, and glass pendant lighting with vintage Edison bulbs together send guests back in time to a rustic saloon of yesteryear. The high-tech additions of high-def. flat screen TV and recessed LED accent light are the hint that this is a contemporary project. A custom kitchen and butler pantry in the French Country style. This space offers several specialty accoutrements to make it truly one of a kind. The range hood is adorned with handmade finials and is supported with two highly figured corbels. Two curved display cabinets flank the cook top with matching crown to create a seamless design throughout the room. Project was built and designed by Homestead Cabinetmakers in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
