This remodel took an extremely dark & dated kitchen and transformed it into a bright and airy happy place for our client. The existing conditions created a dark, hall-like kitchen that greatly lacked in function and did little to optimize storage. Realizing the potential of this truly massive space, we created a design that utilizes every inch of the kitchen and creates functional cooking and prep space as well as pantry storage and work nooks. Our first order of business was to demo out the blocky corner that separated the kitchen from the living room. This involved removing an existing fireplace, re-structuring a wall, and having an entirely new furnace installed in the basement to eliminate a duct running right through the corner we hoped to eliminate. After opening up the space, we focused on highlighting and brightening the room. New NuCore flooring was installed to give the kitchen a fresh look while offering optimal function and cleanability. Two-toned cabinets in a honey maple and painted silk were used to create a warm and comfortable balance throughout the space. New quartz countertops in MSI's canvas were installed, and butcher block was installed on the two desk areas to offer a warm visual relief and casual work surface. The color palette for the kitchen is reminiscent of a cozy apothecary; we utilized fresh greens with Sherwin Williams paint on the walls and Treviso Gray Sage glazed subway tiles on the backsplash. Over the sink, we designed a playful highlight with counter-to-ceiling mini brick mosaic in a dark crackle green. We introduced additional lighting throughout including new recessed lights, over-sink light, and under-cabinet lights. New appliances were introduced to the space as well, and we complimented the stainless steel of these fixtures to the transitional nickel hardware on the cabinets. This space now feels open and inviting, and is visible from the second you enter the front door! We are so proud of this result and so happy that our clients can enjoy this gorgeous kitchen for years to come.

Project Scope & Features:
Design & Permitting - We prepared concept design layouts that we converted to construction drawings. We prepared and submitted all permitting applications for this home based business and provided client representation through each phase of the project up to and including final occupancy inspection.
Space Planning & Layout Optimization – We maximized the existing footprint for optimal functionality, ensuring seamless equipment placement, circulation, and safety.
Flooring Selection – We installed durable, shock-absorbing gym flooring to support high-impact training and reduce noise transfer.
Lighting & Electrical Upgrades – We enhanced brightness and visibility with LED lighting, strategically placed for an energizing atmosphere. We added dedicated electrical circuits to accommodate specialized fitness equipment.
Ventilation & Climate Control – We incorporated efficient HVAC solutions to maintain air quality and temperature for a comfortable workout space.
Custom Storage & Organization – We integrated built-in under-stair equipment shelving and storage solutions for weights, resistance bands, and fitness accessories.
Aesthetic & Branding Integration – We designed a modern, motivating environment with finishes that align with the Fort Sask. Fitness brand identity.
Soundproofing Enhancements – We implemented acoustic treatments to minimize noise impact on the rest of the home.
By blending function with design, this basement transformation created a professional-grade fitness space that caters to both personal and client needs—all within the convenience of a residential setting.

THE LOCATION AND ARCHITECTURE
The plot of land where the Hillside Haven project was built played a crucial role in the design of the house. The location was carefully selected to take advantage of the stunning natural beauty of the Cyprus mountains, with the orientation of the house being optimized to maximize sunlight and take in the breathtaking mountain views.
The topography of the site also provided ample opportunities for arranging outdoor living spaces, such as terraces, which were combined with the picturesque natural surroundings to create a seamless connection between the house and its environment.
THE INTERIOR DESIGN
The interior of the Hillside Haven project was designed with both practicality and luxury in mind. The house features four bedrooms and two separate bathrooms on the first floor, a spacious hall, and a master bedroom with a wardrobe, an additional bedroom, and a dressing room on the second floor. The interior spaces are characterized by a minimalist design, with an emphasis on clean lines and open spaces that maximize natural light.
THE EXTERIOR DESIGN
Featuring a modern and sophisticated facade that is both elegant and dynamic. The front of the house is characterized by a timber screening that provides both privacy and a sense of warmth and texture. Meanwhile, the rear facade features a dynamic composition of vertical wooden laths that create a striking visual effect. The carefully selected materials for the exterior include natural wood color for vertical and horizontal cladding slats, graphite-colored zinc roofing, natural wooden hemmed roof, pigmented concrete in white color, and natural stone veneer. The result is a house that is both beautiful and durable, capable of withstanding the harsh weather conditions of the Cyprus mountains.

The pool is surrounded by a stone deck, creating a serene and calming oasis that is perfect for relaxation and unwinding.
The Hillside Haven project is a stunning example of modern and elegant architecture, designed to provide a luxurious escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Encapsulated in the silhouette of the striking Sotria Bath Collection by Brizo® is a myriad of influences: airplanes, automobile tail fins and the optimism of mid-century America.
It’s obvious the inspiration for the Sotria collection stems from the sleek, streamlined aesthetic of an airplane; but it’s about something bigger than that, too. Sotria was inspired by the optimism of mid-century America—taking the spirit of the 1950s and re-imagined it in a way that’s both a nod to the past and a celebration of the present.

We absolutely love the final result of this unique, two-toned kitchen! Our clients came to us with the need for a lot of love in their kitchen. Their home, situated in the Fox Ridge neighboorhood of Centennial, is a lovely and spacious house with lots of potential. The kitchen, while very sizable, contained a number of super dated elements. Our goal was to give the kitchen a complete aesthetic facelift, but to also encourage better function in the kitchen. Our primary concern was disconnecting the existing (huge) peninsula and replacing it with a centralized island. This busy family of four will benefit from the gathering space the island provides. We worked with the existing ceiling condition to create a unique, recessed wood-clad ceiling that offers a gorgeous rustic aesthetic. The existing linoleum flooring was replaced with beautiful walnut hardwood. New cabinets were installed in a two-toned orientation. The upper cabinets are a soft stone gray and the lowers are a painted hazelnut. We've stacked cabinets next to the range to create a secondary pantry storage area, and repaired portions of the existing pantry to optimize shelving space and appearance. The kitchen also includes a new desk area integrated into the cabinet run for homework and to-do lists. A new large, singe-basin sink and pull-down faucet were installed, and the kitchen is brought together by the mini-stacked stone backsplash that brings texture and warmth to the room. We've offered durable and beautiful working surfaces by topping the cabinets with quartz countertops: MSI Boletus against the window wall and MSI Concerto on the island. We love the look the of this final result, but particularly love the optimized function that it offers this wonderful family!

• Statement Seating: Plush sofas and armchairs in soft, neutral fabrics create inviting seating areas in the living room, prioritizing both comfort and style.
• Sleek Storage Solutions: Built-in wardrobes and cabinetry were designed to optimize space, incorporating hidden compartments and intelligent storage systems to keep the apartment clutter-free.
• Elegant Dining Set: A custom dining table with marble accents serves as a focal point, blending seamlessly with the open-plan layout and adding a touch of grandeur.
Renovation Execution: Precision and Craftsmanship
The renovation execution phase was where Antonovich Group’s expertise truly shone. The apartment required minor structural updates to accommodate the open-plan layout and smart home integrations. It features white shaker style cabinets and a custom built-in desk to optimize space and functionality. The master bathroom features DeWils cabinetry in walnut with a shadow gray stain. The new vanity cabinet was specially designed to offer more storage. The stylistic niche design in the shower runs the entire width of the shower for a modernized and clean look. The same Cambria countertop is used in the bathrooms as was used in the kitchen. "Natural looking" materials, subtle with various surface textures in shades of white and gray, contrast the vanity color. The shower floor is Stone Cobbles while the bathroom flooring is a white concrete looking tile, both from DalTile. The Wood Looking Shower Tiles are from Arizona Tile. The hall or guest bathroom features the same materials as the master bath but also offers the homeowners a bathtub. The laundry room has white shaker style custom built in tall and upper cabinets. The flooring in the laundry room matches the bathroom flooring.

The bathroom features custom-sized Conestoga Cuzco Oro 633 panels, lending a rich and inviting tone to the cabinetry. Practical additions such as removable toe kicks and leveling legs ensure easy maintenance and adjustment.

When Chris B. came to us about building a solarized barn on his Hillsboro property we jumped at the opportunity to design a perfectly situated solar roof. Given the location, the optimal tilt and orientation for maximum annual solar resource is a 35 degree tilt and 183 azimuth, making the Tilt and Orientation Factor (TOF) a perfect 100%! This standing seam metal roof—the optimal roofing material for solar—was sized to allow a 3' supported walkway around the entire perimeter of the building and enough space for 20.67kW worth of solar panels to make the property net-zero. It's literally perfect!
Estimated Annual Energy Production: 21,598 kWh/yr - Includes (25) Year Warranty.

The kitchen in this Passive House-inspired new build combines sleek modern design with cutting-edge energy efficiency. Featuring high-performance appliances, custom millwork, and sustainable materials, it offers a functional yet stylish space. Mini marvel kitchen optimizes a small footprint in Cambridge, MA. The kitchen features a Kerf board with custom shelves. Semi-custom cabinetry by Brubaker.

The island stands as a functional centerpiece in the kitchen, finished with Conestoga Titanio 661, which provides a stylish contrast to the main kitchen cabinets. It features an overhang that allows for comfortable bar stool seating, making it an ideal spot for casual dining or socializing. Equipped with a built-in microwave drawer, the island optimizes space while maintaining the clean lines of its design. The Fisher and Paykel dishwasher is seamlessly integrated, enhancing functionality without disrupting the sleek aesthetic. Additionally, the island is illuminated with tunable white LED lighting from Hafele Loox, which can be adjusted for different times of day or activities, providing both practical task lighting and a cozy ambiance for gatherings. This combination of modern design and practical features makes the island a central hub for both cooking and entertainment.

Phase two of our project focused entirely on the master bedroom, walk-in closet, and master bath. The space was too dark and poorly laid out. We started with a clean slate, redesigning and renovating the entire space to optimize for efficient flow, a roomier bath, and closet space optimized for good storage. In the master bath, we added a much-needed window and removed a gigantic bathtub, opting for a large shower instead. We updated to a smart toilet, new custom tile, and bright white cabinets, transforming this previously cave-like space into an inviting, light-filled experience.

We updated this 1907 two-story family home for re-sale. We added modern design elements and amenities while retaining the home’s original charm in the layout and key details. The aim was to optimize the value of the property for a prospective buyer, within a reasonable budget.
New French doors from kitchen and a rear bedroom open out to a new bi-level deck that allows good sight lines, functional outdoor living space, and easy access to a garden full of mature fruit trees. French doors from an upstairs bedroom open out to a private high deck overlooking the garden. The garage has been converted to a family room that opens to the garden.
The bathrooms and kitchen were remodeled the kitchen with simple, light, classic materials and contemporary lighting fixtures. New windows and skylights flood the spaces with light. Stained wood windows and doors at the kitchen pick up on the original stained wood of the other living spaces.
New redwood picture molding was created for the living room where traces in the plaster suggested that picture molding has originally been. A sweet corner window seat at the living room was restored. At a downstairs bedroom we created a new plate rail and other redwood trim matching the original at the dining room. The original dining room hutch and woodwork were restored and a new mantel built for the fireplace.
We built deep shelves into space carved out of the attic next to upstairs bedrooms and added other built-ins for character and usefulness. Storage was created in nooks throughout the house. A small room off the kitchen was set up for efficient laundry and pantry space.
We provided the future owner of the house with plans showing design possibilities for expanding the house and creating a master suite with upstairs roof dormers and a small addition downstairs. The proposed design would optimize the house for current use while respecting the original integrity of the house.

90° tempered 3/8" low iron glass sliding shower enclosure with matte black U channel
90-degree custom-made sliding shower enclosure installed in a master shower at a home in Orlando. The customer wanted to have matte black hardware to go with other fixtures in the bathroom. Due to the tight space, we helped the customer select a sliding enclosure that would optimize the space by not having a swinging door to take extra room when swinging in or out. The shower enclosure resulted in the icing for this new bathroom remodel.
