The cabinets were custom designed by Tom, with straight, simple lines, and custom built by Draper DBS of walnut, with a deep, rich brown finish. The richness of the dark cabinetry juxtaposed with the elegance of the white carrara marble on the countertop, wall and floors contributes to the room's sophistication. Ample storage is found in the large vanity and an armoire style cabinet, designed to mimic a free-standing furniture piece, that is positioned behind the door. Architectural beams placed across the vaulted ceiling bring a sense of scale to the room and invite natural light in through the skylight.

This Master Bathroom features high contrasts in color and shapes. Modern black fixtures standout in a backdrop over-sized subway tiles. A custom vanity rests on heated porcelain floors in a faux wood pattern. Carrera marble in a chevron pattern is the star of the shower in the niche and the floor is tiled in a hex pattern. Updating the floor plan allowed for a larger shower and increased storage. The barn door is a fresh update for the closet entrance.

The client derived inspiration for her new shower from a photo featuring a multi-colored tile floor. Using this photo, Gayler Design Build custom-designed a shower pan that incorporated six different colors of 4-inch hexagon tiles by Lunada Bay. These tiles were beautifully combined and laid in a “dark to light” pattern effectively transforming the shower into a work of art. Contributing to the room’s classic and timeless bathroom design was the shower walls that were designed in cotton white 3x6 subway tiles with grey grout. An elongated, oversized shower niche completed the look providing just the right space for necessary soap and shampoo bottles.

The bathroom not only accommodates family and friends for game days but also has an oversized shower for overnight guests. White subway tile, restoration fixtures, and a chunky steel and marble vanity complement the urban styling in the adjacent rooms.

Inspiration for a contemporary white tile and mosaic tile limestone floor doorless shower remodel in Los Angeles with an integrated sink, flat-panel cabinets, blue cabinets, white walls and gray countertops

Our client had already done many renovations to their almost century-old, converted multi-family home. The master bathroom was one of the remaining projects on their list. We closed off the existing entry into the bathroom and removed the hall closet for better flow and to increase the overall square footage of the space. Just inside the new entry, we built a large vanity with quartz countertop, white maple cabinetry with crystal drawer pulls. The old tub was replaced with an oversized shower with bench seat. A mix of different shape and size Hampton Carrara polished marble tile is used for the shower and floor. The radiator and toilet were moved. The toilet now tucks neatly away behind the shower. Patchwork Random mosaic tiles were placed throughout the floor and shower wall to add a funky touch to this elegant bathroom. A cool pendant light fixture and Moen and Delta fixtures complete the space.

Floating walnut vanity with granite counter tops, wall mounted faucets, over-sized mirror and gold pendants. Picture window featured high up for privacy but allows light to filter in.

White and gray are far from boring in this bathroom renovation. The quartz bench inside the shower continues the full length of the wall, slicing through the floor to ceiling linen cabinet and glass shower enclosure. Custom Cascade cabinet doors with a metallic silver painted finish, add an unexpected element to this contemporary bathroom. Built-in hampers are another added bonus. Oversized porcelain square floor tiles, textured glossy wall tiles, and stainless steel accent tiles welcome us into this spa-like oasis. A pop of color from a single piece of contemporary art makes a stunning impact.
