This light-filled living room in a Chicago high-rise mixes beautifully crafted traditional and contemporary furniture with lush fabrics, colors and textures. The inviting environment works in concert with the client's collection of fine art.

Over the years we have developed relationships with many clients but none like this one. Our client, Charlotte, had us collaborate with her on many aspects of her loft space. We started out small with custom bedding and drapery in the bedroom. Soon after that, the project grew to include furniture and textiles in the remaining rooms. We also designed her kitchen with Vesta Chicago as well as her two bathrooms. She wanted the romantic feeling of an old hotel in Paris. Designed to harmonize with its wooded mountain setting, the home combines clean lines, refined materials, and enduring craftsmanship. This Paris Mountain custom home embraces its Greenville landscape, offering a sense of retreat, privacy, and balance between the natural and built environments. The exterior features a refined mix of fieldstone, smooth siding, and vertical cedar accents, layered to achieve both warmth and contrast. A Classic curated designed Great Room was paramount to incorporate natural elements to contrast the minimalist interior. To the end, the overall palette is subdued: white, gold, and taupe incorporating organic wood grained furnishings. We took our client's wishes for a modern, sophisticated environment in which to gather with family and friends for casual conversations for years to come.

After a trip to Paris, my client was inspired to create a space that was reminiscent of the hotel that they stayed in. I utilized striped wallpaper, hydrangea and blue woven fabrics along with and a variety of cotton twills to create a soft and comfortable environment. The Parisian flare was added in the selection of the furniture pieces and lighting.

A Chic luxury apartment with urban details and aesthetic enhanced contemporary furnishings were layered with clean lines, sharp angles, and simple profiles to create complexity in design without becoming too cold. Understated design is filled with textural and visual elements like glamor inspired artwork, textured rugs, and luxurious high end upholstery fabrics.
