Interior looking towards entry and mezzanine. The simple forms and common materials such as stone and plaster provided for the client’s budget and allowed for a living environment that included natural light that flood the home with brightness while maintaining privacy.

Summit Ridge is a custom residence on Paris Mountain that reinterprets classic Southern architecture through a modern lens. Designed to harmonize with its wooded mountain setting, the home combines clean lines, refined materials, and enduring craftsmanship. This Paris Mountain custom home embraces its Greenville landscape, offering a sense of retreat, privacy, and balance between the natural and built environments.
The exterior features a refined mix of fieldstone, smooth siding, and vertical cedar accents, layered to achieve both warmth and contrast. A standing-seam metal roof, deep overhangs, and cypress porch ceilings emphasize the home’s strong horizontal lines while improving energy efficiency and protection from the elements. Custom aluminum-clad windows and doors bring in natural light and open the interior to expansive mountain views. Exposed steel brackets and precision detailing reveal the craftsmanship that defines Greenville-based CarsonSpeer Builders’ work, where structure and artistry coexist beautifully.

After a trip to Paris, my client was inspired to create a space that was reminiscent of the hotel that they stayed in. I utilized striped wallpaper, hydrangea and blue woven fabrics along with a variety of cotton twills to create a soft and comfortable environment. The Parisian flare was added in the selection of the furniture pieces and lighting.

A neutral colour palette was the main aspect of the brief setting the tone for a sophisticated and elegant home.
The main tile we chose is called "Paris White". It is a light colour tile with darker flecks and gently undulating vein patterning reminiscent of sandy shorelines. It has a smooth matt surface that feels lovely to the touch and is very easy to clean. We used this tile on both the walls and the floor of this Family bathroom. We combined the tile with feature mosaics and pebbles to add interest and texture. The mosaic has glass pieces which catch the light and reflect it.
The pebbles have an impeccably smooth feel and while neutral in tone the variance in stone colours create a dynamic interplay.
The brushed gold tapware possesses a gentle hue, and its brushed finish exudes a timeless, classic appeal.

Today I present a new project of my ethno-style mural. Several years ago I began to think about the development of modern interior design, since it is important for me not only to fill the space with things and colors, but also to express the very foundations, the origins of life.
I spent a lot of time in museums of decorative arts in Paris, Vienna, London, studying samples of ancient culture. For several years I went on long ethnographic travels and collected a small collection of antiques and vintage items. My maternal grandmother was a People's Artist of Ukraine in the technique of national embroidery and gave me a big love for decorative arts.
Today I present a project based on my research and new understanding of embroidery in a modern interior. Basis: ancient "Reshetilovskaya" embroidery from the Poltava region.
I completed the mural by transferring the old pattern to the wall. The work lasted 6 months, including research, sketches, preparation, color schemes, fitting. I also used a bit of gilding. In the current environment, this type of interior decoration is sustainable, relevant, and very inspiring.
The project has not been published anywhere before. If you are interested, I will send a photo and all the necessary materials and descriptions. I also have all my diplomas and certificates and ready to present them on request.
