Single front door - large transitional limestone floor and black floor single front door idea in Phoenix with white walls and a black front door

If ever there was an ugly duckling, this master bath was it. While the master bedroom was spacious, the bath was anything but with its 30” shower, ugly cabinetry and angles everywhere. To become a beautiful swan, a bath with enlarged shower open to natural light and classic design materials that reflect the homeowners’ Parisian leanings was conceived. After all, some fairy tales do have a happy ending.
By eliminating an angled walk-in closet and relocating the commode, valuable space was freed to make an enlarged shower with telescoped walls resulting in room for toiletries hidden from view, a bench seat, and a more gracious opening into the bath from the bedroom. Also key was the decision for a single vanity thereby allowing for two small closets for linens and clothing. A lovely palette of white, black, and yellow keep things airy and refined. Charming details in the wainscot, crown molding, and six-panel doors as well as cabinet hardware, Laurent door style and styled vanity feet continue the theme. Custom glass shower walls permit the bather to bask in natural light and feel less closed in; and beautiful carrera marble with black detailing are the perfect foil to the polished nickel fixtures in this luxurious master bath.

Glamour is the name of the game for this gorgeous flat in the 8th arrondissement in Paris.
For Victoria's first international project, she went all out with this client's favorite jewel tones, lush materials, and statement light fixtures. The wall between the kitchen and dining/living room was removed to create an American-inspired “open concept”, the trim was painted black to add contrast to the previously all-white walls, and the wood floors were re-stained to tone down the yellowed oak. Throughout the home, bold colors took center stage with a deep turquoise office/guest quarters and rich sapphire with silver enchant the master bedroom for a luxurious look. In the kitchen, the client had the great idea of adding a bench at the end of the new waterfall countertop, which led to the creation of a mini Parisian-inspired bistro vignette. In the main living space of the home, the only must-have was two custom velvet fuchsia sofas in the living room, so from fun prints in turquoises and purples were mixed for a rich, layered atmosphere.
Amazingly, almost everything was sourced from the U.S. and shipped over to Paris. The Parisian project came to an end with a fun-filled trip to Paris where fabulous accessories to personalize the overall design were sourced and hand selected.

This Parisian paradise was designed for a very special young girl. Her Mother contacted Greene Designs looking for someone to create the room her daughter had been dreaming about for years. Due to an accident when she was an infant she has had to endure hundreds of surgeries over her life. When I heard her story I knew she was deserving of something wonderful. Her Mother and I set out to create a room that has a touch of Parisian sophistication (a place they hope to visit soon), and the fun and whimsy of a pre-teen’s room. This bedroom includes a daybed with a trundle perfect for sleepovers, a charming nightstand with a bit of “bling”, a vanity where she can do her makeup, a dresser with a mirror, and a chandelier. The paint and accessories pulled the room together completing the Parisian design. I was so happy to be chosen to design a room for such a fun, sweet, and courageous young lady.
