This small room has a lot going on, but all of it comes together with color and placement with style. The vanity of cream and aged gold is custom to fit the tiny area. I had to place center with the faucets and the vessel sink had to sit at a level on the marble top so that the plumbing (which was already installed in the wall) would fit and the custom mirror had to fit between the stone wall chair rail and the ceiling. The walls were covered in a granite like wall covering and extends over the ceiling. The hand towel bar is a finial with a nice long shank in gold leaf that was conveniently placed next to the sink for ease of use but for a look of elegance. The floor had already been chosen by the client, so these elements needed to be calm and not "in your face" so that the flooring did not compete with the custom vanity and mirror. I must say it was nicely done by all who participated. The light fixture photo will be added to this line up of photos after I can get the right angel to show it off. It was chosen by the client and he is very proud of his choice. So am I!!

To make sure that the room feels completely bespoke, we worked with a local wood fabricator to make an accent wall out of angled wood pieces that were painted the same color as the surrounding room. This accent wall is right at the entrance to the master suite, so it sets the tone for a unique and gorgeous space. This year’s Designer Showhouse was another great opportunity to give back to our Montecito community while showcasing our work as a fully integrated interior design studio. This time around, we participated in the first Home & Garden Designer Showcase by creating the lounge, bar area, and powder room of a nearly 6,000 square foot home in the neighborhood. The beautiful MARIA LAURA table from our SORELLA furniture line provides a joyful centerpiece to the seating area and shows how flexible and outside-the-box our furniture designs can be. The distinct piano bench, also one of our designs, gives the space a sophisticated touch, and pillows from our MB Home Collection provide a perfect complement to the plush chairs. All of the staging and décor accessories are from louis + rocco, our home decor styling rental business. Project designed by Montecito interior designer Margarita Bravo. Ca. 1919 Craftsman Style Home, Revisioned by the South’s Leading Designers Twenty‐two leading interior designers from three different states completely restored this historic home on Franklin’s historic Main Street as part of the O’More Show House, which was opened to the public from May 12‐27, 2016 and presented by leading sponsor, PARKS. This is the third O’More Show House event in recent years, with participating designers having ties to O’More College of Design in downtown Franklin and proceeds benefiting the College’s School of Interior Design. The 2016 home, a 5,200 square‐foot ca. 1919 brick and stucco Craftsman‐style cottage, is a significant contributing property to the National Register‐listed Hincheyville Historic District. The owners have undertaken a total renovation of the home’s interior while leaving the street‐view exterior intact. We were recommended to project managers and O'More College for the entire landscape design and installation: landscaping, irrigation, lighting, paver walks and patios, paver-raised porch with steps, paver banding in driveway!
