This custom Cherry executive desk was designed for a client in Brighton, Michigan, who had been searching for the right desk for their home office but simply couldn’t find what they needed anywhere else. Crafted from solid USA-sourced Cherry hardwood, the desk was custom dyed and stained to complement the existing finishes in the room, creating a warm, cohesive addition to the space. Functionality was built directly into the design. Grommets integrated into the desktop route cords to a hidden cable management shelf inside the desk, allowing everything to connect discreetly to an electrical outlet located in the floor below. The result is a clean, uncluttered workspace without sacrificing everyday convenience. The substantial waterfall-style sides and clean lines give the desk a refined executive presence while allowing the natural character of the Cherry to remain the focus. Walk through pantry. We used a 9ft cherry butcher-block top applying 15 coats of food safe Walnut Nut oil. Three 36" grey base cabinets with self closing drawers and doors were used and sat directly on top of grey tone rectangle tiles. We added 9ft of of open adjustable all wood component shelving in three 36" units. The shelving is all wood core product with a veneer finish and all maple edges on shelving. The strength is 10x that of particle board systems. These shelves give a custom shelving look with the adjustable of component product. We also added a 48"x72" free standing shelf unit with 6 shelves.

This brown cookie cutter desperately needed our help to reach its full potential. We replaced the builder grade particle board cabinets, who’s shelves were sagging with all new cabinets. They went with a Catalina shaker door in a beautiful pebble grey color. They were also looking to add more storage, and we were able to add a nice size pantry loaded with pullout shelves and a modest size island for food prep and baking. To add a bit of razzle dazzle we added a high end mosaic backsplash up and around the sink window as well as LED undercabinet lighting that also lights the access to the jumbo closet pantry. Now this is a kitchen that they love to entertain in with their family and friends.
