Spring has arrived in the Newtown Bucks County "farmhouse" kitchen. Interior Designer, Nancy Gracia coupled this stunning La Cornue Fe stove with a custom zinc hood. Bardiglio hexagonal marble complement the stainless appliances and serve as a graceful backdrop to the subway marble set in a brick pattern throughout the entire kitchen. Custom beaded inset hand brushed cabinetry is a nice contrast to the thin pine planking flooring. Unlacquered brass hardware and soapstone countertops complete the custom cabinetry. Drawing design inspiration from the gorgeous gray stained cabinetry, we designed the rest of the home to reflect the industrial modern farmhouse vibe that came from these materials and finishes.

A modern kitchen filled with detail for a private chef and her family. A combination of color, classic finishes, and hand crafted details, along with curated art and pottery brings together an everyday environment that has become central to this young families daily lives.

This dining room combines modern, rustic and classic styles. The colors are inspired by the original art work placed on the accent wall. Dining room accessories are understated to compliment the dining room painting. Custom made draperies complete the look. Natural fabric for the upholstery chairs is selected to work with the modern dining room rug. A rustic chandelier is high above the dining room table to showcase the painting. An Oklahoma Flagstone path inside the garden allows everyone to enjoy the plants up close. The Friends of North Haven Trail board members chose to create native perennial gardens for residents to enjoy. We very much enjoyed partnering with them to design and install these habitat gardens! So many walkers and bikers stopped by to tell us how much they enjoy the flowers. Its wonderful to see people outdoors enjoying the wonders of Nature. Plus, butterflies and bees flocked to the flowers the same day we planted - its a wonder how they find their favorite flowers so quickly!
