Inspiration for a mid-sized transitional l-shaped dark wood floor and brown floor eat-in kitchen remodel in Tampa with a farmhouse sink, recessed-panel cabinets, white cabinets, marble countertops, black backsplash, brick backsplash, stainless steel appliances and an island

The butler pantry with Floor-to-ceiling inset cabinetry in a deep slate or navy blue wraps the full perimeter, with glass front upper cabinets with mirrored interiors that multiply light and depth throughout the space. Lower cabinets feature a mix of doors and deep drawer stacks with brushed nickel bar pulls and round knobs. The countertop is a warm natural butcher block or light wood slab, providing tonal contrast against the blue. The backsplash is a full-length antique or smoked mirror panel running counter to ceiling, adding glamour and further expanding the perceived depth of the room. A gold sputnik burst chandelier anchors the ceiling, injecting a bold decorative statement that plays perfectly against the moody cabinetry color.

Awarded by the Classical institute of art and architecture , the linnean house has a restrained and simple elevation of doors and windows. Nestled in the Forest Hills neighborhood of Washington, D.C., the Linnean House is classical in both plan and elevation throughout its award-winning house plans. The main mass, comprising of the most formal and public spaces, is a spatial triptych along a symmetrical main axis. Inside the luxury home, the limestone façade, simple but well-proportioned with classical elements, extends itself into both the entry portico and main foyer with consistent proportions and materiality. This introduction allows the flanking living and dining rooms to be perceived as separate pavilions, each equipped with eight equal-proportioned French doors symmetrical of the main axis. Beyond the classical spaces are two wings which lead to the master suite and a kitchen/family space, respectively. Both of which are situated to queue from the French door axis, a focal feature in the repeatedly published home design. At the entry foyer, the stark stone luxury architecture is warmed by two symmetrical wood armoire-like freestanding sculptural objects, a persistent theme throughout the luxury house. In the kitchen, for instance, stand four similar wood armoire objects at opposite corners that act as columns and help give this space a sense of boundary and enclosure. The master bath vanity, in similar fashion, is introduced as a central free-standing form anchoring itself as a notable presence in the space. Lastly, the wine room is designed as a series of free-standing heavy wood cavity walls spanned only by a hint of glass.

As soon as you enter into this magnificent residence your attention is drawn to the striking and beautiful stonewall. The warm and simplicity of the modern electric fireplace is an unspoken invitation to “come in and make yourself comfortable”. While your senses are getting marvel by the glare of the enchanted chandelier, you will perceive the depth, character and warmth exuded but the second floor wood accent wall. The use of rich, natural materials creates a sense of extraordinary, and modern elegance. The quality craftsmanship, attention to details, and the warm color pallete generates comfort and harmony. The dinning room wainscoting pattern was meticulously designed to complement the custom made wine rack. There is a perfect flow and seamless transition between the living room and the formal dinning room.
