Design objectives for the remodel were aimed at giving the kitchen a larger feel, more room for cooking and extra seating for entertaining: -Island with seating -Space for a larger range/cooking area -More storage with cabinets to the ceiling -Making the original dining room blend with the kitchen so it all feels like one space Design challenges to be solved: -Making the header between the kitchen and the old dining room make sense as we combined the two spaces -Avoid feeling crammed – a large island with seating still needed space for people walking around the space -Refrigerator location – the header and window placements needed to stay, so finding a new and functional place for the fridge was a priority -Add a large hood for wow-factor appeal Design solutions fell into place as the overall layout came together: -A large island to seat their four-person family comfortably. -Seating on two sides of the island improves conversation and has a great look. -Knocking out a dining room wall gave us more room for the island. The leftover part of the dining was perfect for a dry bar/beverage area. -The refrigerator needed to blend in and also be easily accessible. We removed the built-in pantry and used this space to house the refrigerator/freezer. Then we added tall pantry cabinets throughout the kitchen to make up for the loss of space. -A large metal hood broke up the space and made for a fun statement piece The new space is perfect for family time when the kids are back. It’s more conducive for being together, hanging out together, and entertaining with different friend groups together… the family simply spends more time together when they’re together in their new space. “It’s the design and the openness,” the mom says. “Everybody loves it and gathers around the island all the time. It’s the lighting, too – it’s brighter in here. It’s just more open. We love it!”

In this well designed gym room Cheryl wanted to create not only a functional work out area but also a fun and funky feel. A classic colour palette of black and white sets the tone of this space with bold pops of red adding a fun element. Cheryl had an eye catching statement black and white wallpaper of faces printed that adds the wow factor to the gym. A set of black framed complimentary prints feature above the built in joinery unit which houses a bar fridge. An inspirational decal quote adorns the mirrored wall - perfect for that little bit of extra motivation. All windows are dressed in a sheer weave roller blinds and striped roman blinds allowing for complete privacy. David Betsy of Reico Kitchen and Bath in Wilmington, DE collaborated with J Butler Home Improvements to design a shaker styled kitchen featuring Masterpiece cabinetry. The cabinets are in the Mesa door style in Quartersawn Oak with a Natural finish, complemented by New Bianco Romano granite countertops. Appliances were provided by others. The client expressed their appreciation, saying, “I’m very happy with everything we picked and love my new kitchen. The hardest part of the project was storing everything until it was finished. I especially love my little step stool that allows me to reach everything in the high part of the cabinets. I also love my farm sink.” “The clients were looking to make their kitchen more modern but keep a natural feel. This space was created as a master bath for this client and was part of a larger master suite and dance studio addition. Textured tile makes a perfect transition between the shower wall tile, porcelain plank flooring, and shower floor in this soothing space. Brushed nickel hardware and fixtures also serve to tie the space together. A generous shower alcove, including corner shower seat add to the luxurious feel of this master bath. With home prices rising and residential lots getting smaller, this Encinitas couple decided to stay in place and add on to their beloved home and neighborhood. Retired, but very active, they planned for the golden years while having fun along the way. This Master Suite now fosters their passion for dancing as a studio for practice and dance parties. With every detail meticulously designed and perfected, their new indoor/outdoor space is the highlight of their home. "We found Kerry at TaylorPro early on in our decision process. The end result has exceeded our expectations, and our bathroom is regarded as one of the best in the centre! The inspiration behind the display is a natural marble feature tile in Jade. Its deep green colour is visually arresting and works perfectly with the brass tapware and accessories. The brass finish is elegant and sophisticated and has a durability of a hard gold surface. The brass tapware is right on trend and makes the space to stand out from the crowd. Beautiful freestanding bath serves as a visual focus of the bathroom. It’s combined with a sleek floor mounted bath spout. Striking chandelier makes a bold statement with its multi-level design and handblown glass shades. Two freestanding basins lend a sense of modern luxury to the bathroom while stylish LED mirrors provide added illumination for optimum visibility. Simple yet elegant wall hung toilet features concealed in-wall cistern and a sleek flush plate. Round shower heads emulate the playful shape of penny round mosaic on the floor while the marble look wall tiles create a perfect backdrop for all the features. And we couldn’t resist putting an art print in our bathroom! In our opinion, this stunning artwork transforms the bathroom from a purely functional space into a luxurious domain!

We are pleased to announce our project has been awarded the 2016 Best Kitchen Renovation under $25,000 by the Home Builders Association of Metro Harrisburg! Kitchen designed by Tracy West, project installed by Robert Sykora, and photos by Elliot Quintin. Jack and Ellen of Red Lion, PA chose a flat panel contemporary door style. The owners of this 1980’s built-home wanted to create a completely new look for their outdated master bath and turned to Renovisions for design and build services. Having perused Renovisions website, they were confident they made the right choice to help them transform their ordinary space into something truly extraordinary. The design team created several configurations for the homeowners review until they nailed down one particular design that would create that wow factor. The main challenges were creating an open, spacious feel and maximizing natural light and ventilation with plenty of storage and customizations. The addition of a second window allows ample light into the space throughout the day along with the recessed and sconce lights which were perfectly placed. Storage, which was a key element of this design, includes two separate vanity cabinets (his and hers) with plenty of space for needed toiletries, a matching framed medicine cabinet for her and a custom built cubby for him. Built on site was a linen closet with both roll out and stationary shelves for towels and shower supplies. The spacious walk-in, all tiled shower boasts ‘no door’ access with lineal drain, traditional fixed and hand-held shower heads and a rounded shower seat. Polished black granite was used inside the cubby and topping both the threshold and seat creating a nice contrast to and tying in with the floor. The decorative grab bar ensures safety for these homeowners while showering. The heated floors added throughout the bath take the edge off when stepping out of the warm shower and are conveniently operated by a 24 hour programmable thermostat. Classic white subway tile and chair rail trims adorne all walls and tie in nicely to each vanity station. Carrera look quartz was the perfect choice for countertops creating a clean fresh look. Stunning marble basket-weave mosaic floor tile set the stage in this exquisite bath as the beautiful white painted cabinetry softened the overall feel of the space. These homeowners are not saving spa retreats for once-a-year vacations anymore, they now enjoy a relaxing spa-like shower experience every day in their own home!
