So many clients these days want a stream with waterfalls that they can stroll or sit beside to enjoy peaceful contemplative moments. The key is to making such a delightful experience is for it to appear as if Mother Nature carved it out long ago. This means careful thought must go into the plants and rocks used along the banks. More: http://bit.ly/260ghJQ The bright reds seen along this stream are “Wave Petunias” which are summer favorites. They are definitely easy-care as well as fast growing. Note: they are not the cascading Petunias you see growing in porch hanging baskets, but are garden favorites that spread and trail along full of flowers. The pretty bluish-purple flowers just behind them are “Russian Sage” and the robust green evergreens rolling along the banks are “Procumben Junipers. www.deckandpatio.com

This beautiful English-inspired garden features Mexican bush sage, gulf muhly grass, blackfoot daisy, moonbeam coreopsis, coneflower, and rosemary. The space also features an outdoor sitting area to enjoy the lakeside views.

The custom round window with a dragonfly motif was designed as a portal overlooking the woodland gardens, and koi pond in the distance. A small built-in cabinet houses the essentials for making tea, and two floating mahogany shelves hold a small tea pot and cups. Glen Grayson, Architect

**Project Overview** This new custom home is filled with personality and individual touches that make it true to the owners' vision. When creating the guest bath, they wanted to do something truly unique and a little bit whimsical. The result is a custom-designed furniture piece vanity in a custom royal blue finish, as well as matching mirror frames. **What Makes This Project Unique?** The clients had an image in their minds and were determined to find a place for it in their new custom home. Their love of bold blue and this unique style led to the creation of this one-of-a-kind piece. The room is bathed in natural light, and the use of light colors in the tile to complement the brilliant blue, help ensure that the space remains light, airy and welcoming. **Design Challenges** Because this furniture piece doesn't start with a standard vanity, our biggest challenge was simply determining what pieces we could draw upon from a semi-custom custom cabinet line.
