This homeowner wanted a pop of color. Downing Slate was the perfect choice. This blue is dreamy and relaxing, just like the vibe of their property, located in the wooded countryside. The island and vent hood cover are made of quarter-sawn white oak, with a rich medium shade stain, known as cashew.

The corner microwave cabinet keeps it off the counter and at a comfortable height. The 'blind' corner base cabinet features two swing out shelves, making items back in the corner easy to access. The large tray drawer won't wiggle, and is sturdy enough to hold all your cookie sheets and pizza pans upright.

Almost finished! Just waiting for the final finishing touches. The glazed ceramic two tone wall tile is stunning with the detailed pencil trim, capped with matte black Schluter. The quartz brings together all the color elements.

We took down a half wall to open up the space, and added an outlet with charging ports.

Bathroom - cottage bathroom idea

The vents are tucked neatly into the toe kick of the vanity. The tile wrapped walls was a nice touch.

The large drawers in the island flank a two-can trash pull out. Their custom built shiplap hood compliments the kitchen without overpowering other design elements.

This utility room doubles as pantry space and offers the kids a place to sit and take their shoes off. The two pantries have more than enough storage. They have yet to fill all their new cabinets. Our friends at Panther Creek Construction removed the coat closet and brought the wall back to open up the garage entry way.
