Seat cushions in sterilised goose down with insert in multi-thickness polyurethane foam and reinforcements in ''Visco Soft'', a particular soft, durable padding. The perimeter border is hand-finished. It is possible to apply matching leather edging on sofas with 100% fabric upholstery. Backrests have a capitonnè pattern, with buttons in the same colour as the upholstery or with Swarovski crystals. Frame underside is tubular and finished in bright aluminium or painted bronze. Given the special manufacturing process, fabric or leather frame covers are not removable. The frame is assembled with simple threaded bushings, and can easily be disassembled for trouble-free transportation. Our family room / home theater measures 22 x 20. It features custom inset door face frame cabinetry storage made on site by the homeowner. All cabinetry and paneling were painted with 3 coats of Target Coatings base white followed by 3 coats of Target Coatings water base polyurethane to give a hard wearing surface. Home theater includes Paradigm Reference speakers, Samsung television and Pioneer Elite components. My only regret is not putting radiant heat under the tile. It would have helped regulate the temperature better in the winter months.

The hallway borrows light from adjacent rooms through frosted glass-inset doors. This stunning Eastern Suburbs kitchen design comes to life at night with blue and purple 'disco strip' LED lighting under mounted in kitchen and vanities. The owners completely remodeled the home including the kitchen, ensuite and bathroom. Previously a bedroom, two walls were removed to accommodate the new kitchen to create an open plan living area and extend the overall living area. Cabinetry in Polyurethane Antique, matching Kirribilli-style cabinet doors, feature panel glass doors, Butler sink and Shaker-style handles all contribute to create a traditional style kitchen. The Calcutta marble benchtop and splashback unifies the contrasting black of the Island and kickboards. The black and white theme extends from the kitchen through to the bathroom and laundry.

The Swan Chair is now made from polyurethane foam, but at the time, Jacobsen used Styropore® to create its continuous shape.
